"You see," Lin said beginning to explain. "Only best friends will show you their true selves and it's only with you, they share their deep dark secrets."

As Mark walked through the corridor, he heard someone crying in a room. He wanted to ignore it at first, but the cry seemed awfully familiar.
When he opened the door, he saw Lin in the corner crying and holding a knife as if she was about to cut herself.
Lin saw him and immediately stood up in shock.
Mark immediately ran down and took the knife away from her.

"It comes as a whole package, you know?"
"When you put it that way, it sounds pretty cool," Mark replied.
"But, once you get to know all that, you learn to accept those flaws. And those who manage to accept those flaws become better friends," Lin continued. "Close friends. Best friends."
"So that would be another thing to becoming best friends, wouldn't it?" Mark asked.
"What would?" Lin asked. "Accepting flaws?"
