"Jordyn! Come back I swear to god!" Riley started to run, chasing after me. I giggled loudly, running away from him. It was a Friday morning and I decided to sleep over at Riley's place since mom wasn't going to be home until this morning,

"Give what back?" I breathed, sprinting downstairs as fast as I could.

"My phone Jordyn! My fucking phone!" He yelled from behind me.

"Guys, No running! And language Riley!" Mrs. Jones yelled, cringing at our actions. Being the immature teenagers we were, we completely ignored Riley's mother and continued to chase each other around the house.

Eventually I started to become tired, my heart beating fast. I haven't ran like this in so long. Riley grinned, cornering me in the living room. I continued to smirk, catching my breath every once in a while. "Just tell me! What photo did you take of me last night and where'd you post it?!"

"Never," he shook his head vigorously, taking a step closer. I stepped back, pressing his home button down and quickly doing his passcode.

He closed his eyes and shook his head in frustration, "dammit I knew I shouldn't have told you my passcode!"

"You really shouldn't have," I laughed, opening his messages. "Come on Riley! Spit it!"

He bit his lip from laugh and scratched his head.

"Say it or I'll find out myself," I smirked, chuckling at the end.

"Alright alright I'll tell you! Only if you give me my phone back," he raised his eyebrows, slowly taking another step forward.

I smirked, swatting his phone further away from him, up in the air. Which was a bad idea because Riley is much taller than me so he only gave me a confused look as to why I would do that. "Come on Jordyn! Truce!"

"You promise me you won't make shit up like Michael Clifford yesterday?" I giggled. "You have to show me the photo for proof."

"Yes yes I will," he started to whine, taking a step forward, managing to grab a hold of his phone again. I sighed in defeat and placed my arms on my waist.

"Well?"

He scrolled through his camera roll for a few seconds and once he found the picture, he looked up at me in worry, trying his best not to laugh. "Just show me Riley!"

"Don't get mad okay! And no I won't delete it from my Instagram," he spoke in a warning voice. I only rolled my eyes in return. I wouldn't have snatched his phone if he didn't block me on Instagram just to post a photo of me.

Riley flipped the screen towards me. I gasped at the sight of me sleeping with my mouth wide, drooling. I scrunched my nose up in disgust, "Riley!"

"It was funny okay," he defended himself. I felt embarrassed to know that a lot of people from school would have already seen that photo. But at the same time, I didn't really mind.

"Riley, Jordyn! Breakfast time!" Mrs. Jones' voice echoed through the room.

"Mhm bacon and egg," Riley inhaled the aurora of the food.

"So how are your parents?" I whispered, looking straight at the road. Riley's parents recently got divorced, making it really hard for him to cope with things.

He sadly sighed, scratching his hair with one hand and the other holding the steering wheel. "Before you came over I had a talk with my dad."

"And?"

"And he said he's staying at my grandma's place for the mean time until he finds a house or an apartment to live in," he said weakly. I forced out a small smile and placed one hand on his back and caressed it to assure him that I'm here whenever he needs someone.
