3RD POV

Scarlet was in the shower with her hands resting on the tiles and her head under the water.

Why can't we just get a damn break in this town, Scarlet thought. First it was being bit, then Jackson becoming that snake thing, a pack of Alphas and Jennifer, Stiles being possessed, and now this. A fucking dead pool of every supernatural creature in Beacon Hills.

~~~ Flashback Begins ~~~

"So, the Wallcott's were first. There were four of them; Shawn, his brother, and their parents." Stiles told his dad. "They were killed by an assassin called the mute. Weapon of choice, a military tomahawk. But then the mute was killed by Peter Hale after he tried to kill Derek with a claymore mine." Stiles continued.

Scarlet stepped forward, "Next was Damarco, he delivered the keg to the party at Lydia's house. And then last night, twenty-three year old, Carrie Hudson."

"It's a dead pool." Scott told the sheriff. "It's a hit list of supernatural creatures." He took a piece of paper from his pocket. "This is the first part that Lydia got. There's still two more parts left."

"How did Lydia find this list?" The sheriff asked them.

"She wrote it," Stiles answers. "Actually, she transcribed it without realizing it."

"Banshee?"

"Banshee."

"What are this numbers next to the names?"

"We're getting to that." Stiles said, "First, you need to know that the code was broken with a cypher key."

"Wait a minute, like a key word?" the sheriff asked

"It was actually a name." Scarlet sighed

"Allison." Scott looked down at his hands. The sheriff let out a slow nod.

"Her name broke the first third of the list." Stiles stated.

"And we think that there are two other cypher keys." Scott told him

"Which will give us the rest of the names," the sheriff concluded. "Okay, so how do we get the cypher keys?"

"Same way we got the code," Scarlet stated. "Lydia. She's been at the lake house all weekend trying to figure out the two other key words."

"And you didn't know Damarco or Carrie?" The sheriff asked the twins who shook their heads. "Ans what about the other two names on the list: Kayleen Bettcher and Elias Town. Are they werewolves, too?"

"We don't know," Scott said. "But Deaton said that the Nemeton would draw supernatural creatures here."

"here being Beacon Hills? Or Beacon Country?" The sheriff asked him. "The population of Beacon Hills is just over thirty thousand."

"And dropping," Stiles interrupted him.

"But if we are talking Beacon Country," the sheriff continued after Scarlet smacked Stiles in the back of the head. "Then you're looking closer to five hundred thousand," he sat down. "Look how many other werewolves, banshees, kitsune, whatever the hell else is out there are we talking about? And what happens if the next cypher key doesn't unlock twelve names, but one hundred?"

"But, we don't think there will be that many," Scarlet told him. "We think that there is a limit because of that number." Scarlet points to the a number next to one of the names.

"We think that once we decode the names, the numbers will add up to one hundred and seventeen," Scott stated.

"One hundred and seventeen what?" The sheriff asked, sounding like he really doesn't want to know.
