When we finally reached the jail no one was standing around the door. There was 2 locks on the door. Clove took out a lock pick and started with the locks. 5 minutes later they finally opened.
He opened the door quietly and slipped in. I walked in after him. All the cells were open but, the people were still in them. We walked along until we found what I guessed was his mother.
"Mom?" He whispered.
"Clover?" She whimpered
"It's me don't worry we're getting you out of here," he whispered back.
He reached his hand in and she grabbed it. He helped her up and led her along the wall so we could find Damien.
I found him beat up in the corner of his cell. I thought he was dead.
"Hey, wake up," I said
"What?" He asked probably not knowing it was me.
"It's Thana, get up and let's go!" I whispered back.
I saw his eyes pop open and he jumped up and ran out of the cell.
We ran towards the exit and slipped out. We ran on the street towards the portal.
But we were stopped half way there.
Branwen and the guards stood beside him.
"What is this? My daughter is trying to run away? But my sweet your wedding is soon! Aren't you excited?" Branwen went on.
"Wedding?" Damien asked.
"Shut up! I don't want to stay here! I don't want to get married!" I yelled at him.
"I know you don't, but you don't have a choice. Guards," he ordered
They grabbed Damien, Clove, and his mother.
"Let them go!" I demanded.
"You have your moms attitude, she didn't want to marry me either but she learned to love me. So will you," he said.
The guards grabbed my arms and held them behind my back. Branwen pulled out something from his pocket. It was a flask filled with a dark red gas.
"This is a love potion, when you breath this you'll love me like a father. And you'll love your new prince. Thorn come meet your new bride!" He said happily.
