I continued down the isle. This was the moment I was dying waiting for.
We reached the stage and I stepped up on it, and faced Thorn. I could see Damien moving in his seat uncomfortably, and Clove just gave me a death stare. His eyes didn't shine no more. Nothing everything I saw in him before was gone. I couldn't help but smile.
I looked back at Thorn. He was wearing a black tux with a rose coated in blood in his tux pocket.
I smiled and took his hand.
"We are gathered here today to celebrate the joining of these two soulless beings in marriage," the demonologist started.
The rest was blurred. I was focused on Clove. The dullness that consumed him.
"The couple has prepared their own vows," the demonologist continued.
Thorn started with his.
"The first day that I saw you, you looked like the perfect queen. You acted like it too. You'll fit perfectly in the Night Crawlers," he said.
It was my turn.
"When you gave me that potion I realized something. Your different then anyone I be ever seen. I've never wanted to...... kill someone so badly," I finished.
I saw Clove sit up in his seat. Show time.
I tore the skirt off my dress and revealed shorts, swords and bottles of poison.
I took one of the swords and drove it through his chest. I threw a bottle of poison at his 3 family members sitting to the left. It killed them almost instantly. I then threw the sword at one of the guards and sliced his neck. He fell to the ground dead. I pulled another sword from my belt. The other one charged at me but I spun out of the way and he ran into the sword I held out. All that was left was Branwen.
"How did-" I cut him off.
"Did you really think I would ever love you," I said harshly.
"I didn't want to have to do this," he said sadly.
His face was melting. His skin fell off like a mask and it reveled a demon. The stereotypical demon. All red with black horns. He grew at least 4 feet. He had claws the size of my head.
My eyes glowed red and I regained my superhuman strength. I drew my sword and waited for his move.
