Jade's P.O.V
"Here it is" I said happily picking up my soccer ball then walking back up the hill to continue walking home with Leah. But when I got back to the small road, she was gone. "Leah come out don't play like this" I called, nothing just the sound of the cold rain hitting the ground but I did see something...blood.
Oh, no please God she doesn't deserve this I prayed, then stood still lifeless and crying. I remembered to call the police, that was the only way we would be close to finding her. Ten minutes later when they got there the blood I saw on the ground earlier was starting to wash away.
"What happend?" an officer who told me his name was Officer Evans asked me.
"I don't know, I went to get my soccer ball and when I came back Leah was gone" I told them "there was blood over there but its starting to wash away" I said starting to cry again.
"Is their anyone we can call like a parent or guardian while we investigate the scene?" Officer Evans asked.
"Yes, her mother though that probaly wouldn't be much help" I told them, "well anything is better than nothing". Well not when you have a dead beat mom like her, I thought in my head saying that probaly would have lead to more questions. "Oh and here is my number as well, I can be a better help than her mother can" I added.
"She'll be right over, and alright you'll have to be taken in as a witness" Officer Evans told me when he got off the phone with her, then went to talk to some other officers about the crime scene. I hope that blood is enough to lead them to where Leah is, or hopefully they find something else to help. Just then I saw the lights of a red van coming towards us, oh yippy Leah's mom is here (hint the sarcassm). I wasn't to fond of Leah's family but Leah's different, she accepts the little things in life because she knows what its like no not have anything.
Leah's mom looked perfectly normal. I tried to search a sign that she was upset, angry, or even worried for Leah but there was nothing. I watched as the police talked to Ms. Gramm, she just nodded her head saying the occasional "yeah" or "okay". I scoffed, like she cared.
About an hour later the police said that we could go home while they continue to inveatigate. "Would you like a ride home?" Ms.Gramm asked me I just looked at her in disgust then kept walking. You don't even give Leah a ride home and shes your daughter, why would you ask me? I thought to myself.
When I got home I ran to my room and cried, no one was home yet it was only around 5 and my parents both got off at 6 and I was the an only child. I was scared to death for Leah were practically sisters, she doesn't deserve this.
It was around nine when there was a knock on the door I was sitting in the living room talking with my parents about what happend earlier today. "I'll get it" my father said going to open the door. It was MIa she didn't bother to say "hi" she just walked right in and straight towards me, I saw anger in her eyes. "Where is my sister" she yelled "I don't know where she fucking is" I yelled back at her pushing her away from me.
"Yeah you do you were walking with her now where is she?" she asked again. "I told you I don't know, maybe if you weren't with Jason you would know" I told her. She got quiet for a while, he probaly did something to hurt her since he was known as a player. "Jason stood me up so I wasn't with him and don't make this about me" I laughed lightly I knew he would do something like that to her, or anyone. "But how do you not know where she is?" she asked in a calmer tone. I was speaking to her for Leah's sake since Mia and I didn't get along. "I went into the woods to get my soccer ball and when I came back she was gone" I told her letting the tears fall from my eyes, the last part was in a hushed voice. "The police are investigating now" I added between cries.
"Well thanks for telling me my mother didn't say anything about what happend just that Leah was gone" Mia told me she quietly left and I think I heard a sorry I didn't know why she was apoligozing. Maybe I should start talking to her, were never going to find Leah if we avoid each other.
4 days later, Leah's P.O.V
I woke up to darkness, my body was aching all over. Where am I? What happend? I wondered. Just then someone turned the light on, it was a guy. He was pretty tall, well at least to me I was only 5'2" and he looked to be about 5'10". He had green eyes and light brown hair, he was only in boxers and looked pretty fit it was a turn on.
I quickly closed my eyes when I saw him walking over towards me, I didn't want him to see that I was awake I wasn't ready to face whatever it was he was going to do to me. Lets face it, it was probaly going to be horrible anyway. He pushed my hair out of my face and kissed my forehead, why was he doing this i cringed at his touch no guy ever touched me. Was he going to hurt me? Slowly he climbed into bed with me, I hope he doesn't rape me or does anything sexual with me, I can not get pregnant i'm only 15. Or has he done it already? I tried to turn around so I could lay on my side but both my legs and arms were tied up so I couldn't move. I had just noticed they were numb I couldn't feel a thing.
When I heard a faint snore I opened my eyes fully again for who knows how long. I looked around the room thankfully the light was still on. The room was simple, a lamp close by the door a full size bed that mystery guy and I were laying on and a desk on the far left side of the room.
I let out a faint whimper my arms were starting to hurt. He opened his eyes and saw that I was squirming around trying to get free of the rope. He untied both my arms and legs and pulled me close to him wrapping his muscular arms around me. I was unable to move but it was better then being tied to a rope. There was no way a scrawny girl like me could get away from him especially not in the condition I was in. I had scratches on my arms and they were deep cuts, they weren't bleeding though. My right leg was also swollen but to me it was painless and my head was throbbing in pain. I didn't want to bother mystery guy scared of what he might do to me so I let sleep take over my body hoping I would recieve answers in the morning. To how I got here and also to who I was.
