Helpless Cries

Chapter 5

Leah's P.O.V

Where is he? This guy has been in and out of this house since Friday. He locked me in the room and boarded the windows and locked the door from the outside, their was no way for me to leave the room. I hate being locked like this, I can't go outside or do anything to past time. I haven't seen sunlight in a week.

I still don't know what my name is, who my parents are, or anything about my my life but he insist i'm here for the better. He told me his name is Jason and that I was Leah. I didn't know if he was lying, I just couldn't tell.

About ten minutes later I heard the door downstairs open. I was glad he was here I was getting really lonely and hungry, but I mostly wanted the "freedom" I had when he was here. "Hi jason" I said when he walked through the bedroom door. "Hey Leah" he said kissing my cheek I blushed, what did this mean?why was I blushing? I can't like him as far as I know I just met him.

"How was your day?" I asked.

"It was fine just went out with some friends and you".

"Nothing happend why do you lock me in here?" I asked this was the third day that he has done this to me why can't I go outside?

"I don't want anything bad to happen to you" he said looking into my big brown eyes. I sighed "well maybe you can come with me, you look strong" I said poking his biceps "you can protect me" I added. "Alright how about tonight we can have a picnic in the backyard"  he smiled and picked me up taking me to the kitchen. I've only been in the kitchen around three times, it wasn't small but not big either.

I helped Jason pack a picnic basket. We made sandwhices, strawberries dipped in chocolate and got two cans of soda. After that we went outside and he put a blanket on the ground. It was a little chilly so he let me use his sweater. When we were finished eating, he put his hands around my waist and we looked at the beautiful night sky full of stars.

I got butterflies in my stomach. I then realized I was falling for Jason, whoever he was.
