Mia's P.O.V
I quietly sat at the lunch table waiting for Jade, its been five days since my sister diappeared. I usually talked with everyone but ever since Leah disappeared I haven't been the same. "Hey the police said she was kidnapped" I heard a voice say behind me, it was Jade. We've become closer these past five days and we put our differences aside for Leah. We both realized that we had more things in common than we thought and i'm not jealous anymore about her being soccer captain.
We know it was the police's job to find my sister but in this small town the cops aren't really someone to rely on. The cops were already starting to give up the search for my sister. But i'm hoping they find where she is before that day comes.
"Oh great Jason is here" I sighed "have you spoken to him since he stood you up on Monday?" Jade asked "No but I saw him on Tuesday" I told her.
He was sort of known as the "bad boy" of the school. He barely showed up to class, and has got into more fights than I can count on my fingers. He was also a player but I liked him I don't know why. I usually go for the "bad boys" and because of that I got my heart broken to many times it didn't really effect me though.
"Hey babe" Jason said sitting next to me and snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh hi, what happend to you on Monday?" I asked him hoping to recieve a legit answer. "Oh yeah we were supposed to hang out, well I had to babysit my sister" he said, Jade laughed and mumbled what sounded like "good one" he just looked at her as if he wanted her to keep quiet. But it didn't matter everyone knew he was an only child so I knew he was lying. "How about we chill at your place tonight around 7" he asked "sure" I told him he lightly kissed my neck then went to talk to some of his friends.
"Really?" Jade yelled, their was anger in her eyes.
"Really what?"
"Tonight were supposed to go to the poice station Officer Evans said he needed to speak to us I told you yesterday" she told me. I had completly forgotten. "Oh I so forgot" I gasped how could I forget something like this? "And you know hes a player why would you even give him a chance?" she asked. "I don't know its just something about him. "Whatever have fun on your date tonight" she said getting up and walking out of the caffeteria. I was conflicted on what I should do. I was desperate for Jason and any chance I had I was going to be with him. Jade could still tell me what was going on with Leah but I have to live my life too.
I was going to go on a date with Jason.
Jade's P.O.V
It was around 6:30 when I arrived at the police station. I walked inside and found Officer Evan's office.
"Great to see you Jade, take a seat" he greeted me. "Have you found out anymore information about Leah?" I asked sitting down. "I'm sorry but I have bad news" he said not answering my question "we're going to have to stop looking for your friend". So this is it, I let tears fall from my eyes "so your just not looking for her anymore?" I asked. I knew this day would come but not after five days how could they just give up on her so quickly. "Listen i'm sorry if it were up to me I would continue the search if it were up to me, but shes probaly dead by now anyway" he said. That was it, that ticked me off I picked up my bag and ran out of the police station. How dare he say something like that, what if she isn't dead. Am I the only one that still has hope for her?
Now it was up to me and only me. And I will find Leah with or without an army(not literally an army).
