Chapter #4 "My 2nd bestie"
"Hey gurl!"
Natalie says cheerfully.
"I missed you so much!!" I say and hug her.
Natalie was on a long vacation to the Bahamas. She has always been richer than me, smarter than me, and prettier than me. She even got her first kiss and boyfriend before me.
"Soo what's new?" she asks.
"Uhh well nothing, Karen is still a whore but she's always been." I say.
Then Mrs. Martinez walks in.
"Welcome to 12th grade math, I'm your teacher Mrs. Martinez." she cheerfully says.
She doesn't sound that bad, I mean I have had way meaner teachers.
By the time math ends Natalie and I walk out together. We talk about Homecoming and the school's cheer team. Natalie has been a cheerleader since middle school and she has continued to high school. Of course Karen was the cheer captain last year and I think she is planning to be again.
"Omg why don't you try out for cheer again!" Natalie shouts and gets excited.
I quit cheer in 10th because that was when Karen became the captain. She basically tried to bribe everyone into voting for her.
"No, I'm not in perfect shape to be a cheerleader." I respond.
Just then Justin and Alexander joins in and Justin says
"You have a perfect body what else could you need?"
"Wait, how would you know?" Alexander teases.
"I know a lot of things he says and winks at me. I just roll my eyes and keep walking.
"Come on!! You would be perfect!" Natalie says. "Please just consider it."
"Maybe" I say and walk to my next class.
