I opened my eyes to only see a white fog surrounding me.

"wher- where am I?" I asked to no one.

"you are in personal purgatory." a voice said calmly. just then a bright ball of light appeared revealing a women with wings. she appeared to be around 19 and had piercing green eyes with brown hair.

"who are you?" I asked

"my name is eve."

"why am I here?"

"well simply put, your...dead."

"I-I'm dead?"

the only response I received was eve looking off to the side. I followed her gaze to see a blurry image ahead of me. the image suddenly became more clear, and it was...me. I was running through a busy street towards a boy. he was about my age. he was walking right into fast moving traffic. but then at the last moment I pushed him out of the way. I looked to my right to see two bright lights surging towards me. there was darkness, immense pain, and then nothing.

"you were in London at the time of your death." eve spoke focusing my attention back on her "and this is the boy you saved, today."

she turned her attention once again to the side. there was an image of the boy again, only this time I could see his face. then I realized that boy I had saved was the one, the only, Louis Tomlinson.

the image showed that he was with the other boys of one direction as well. he was smiling, but his smile didn't seem to meet his eyes. hi eyes seemed saddened, almost dead in a way.

"he blames himself for your death and hasn't been able to get you out of his mind." eve said. "your uncle hasn't been in the right mind either since your death." she said as an image of my uncle simon appeared. yes, my uncle is Simon cowell. he was sitting in his office staring at a picture of me. he looked like he had been crying for a long time, because his eyes were red.

"why? why would you let me do this to them? they don't deserve this pain. i- i need to live again. not for my sake but for theirs." i say while on the verge of tears

"that is why i signed you up for a reinstatement to life." eve told me

"what's that?"

"the reinstatement to life is given to those who die before their time. it is where you are given a task to complete over a period of five weeks."

"okay... so what is this all mighty task that i have to do?" eve pointed towards an image of louis again.

"you must show him a new light of life. you have to bring him out of the dark, and into the light. make him forget the regret of letting you die." she said

"okay, but how can i do that when i'm dead?"

"that's the thing. you won't be going back as you, and we have to have you close to the boys. so we came to the conclusion that we are going to make you a british model and singer so that way you can be close to your uncle and the boys. we will make sure you get signed and make sure the boys want to be your friends."

"so then, who am i for the next five weeks?"

"mikayla micardy, for the next five weeks you will be known to the world as Arabella Starling."
