Louis' pov
i watched her run away.
"everybody get to the cars, now." i commanded.
everyone ran to the cars except for eve who started running back into the office building.
"eve, where are you going?" i shouted after her.
" he did something to her and i am gonna find out what." she said
"why would you think he did anything to her?"
she walked up to face me.
"did you see her neck it was dripping blood. he was the only ine in there with her. stay here i am going to fund out what happened have the car running." she said as she ran off.

we had been waiting for eve for about 5 minutes before i saw her running full speed towards the car.
" you need to drop us off then go to white water peek." she said
"why there?"
"i just have a hunch that is where she would go. now drive!"
i drove everyone one home and then drove as fast as i could to white water peek.
A/N: idk if that us a real place but lets just pretend.
i pulled onto the dirt road that led to white water peek. but i didn't see arabella anywhere.
as i was about to think that eve might have had her hunch wrong and i was about to leave i heard a slight sniffling.
Mikayla/ arabella's pov
i watched as my tears fell down into the ocean. i felt almost empty. my uncle, my own flesh and blood threatened to kill me.
"arabella?" i heard a voice from behind me call out quietly.
i turned my head slightly to see louis standing there. my flowed faster just seeing him here. i feel like everything i have with him now is just one huge lie.
"arabella, it's almost sunset we should get you home." louis said stepping a little closer to me. but i took a step closer to the edge of the cliff.
"arabella, come on, just come to me." he said
"why? live the lie that i have been put in?" i asked softly not above a whisper.
"arabella, please just don't do what i think you are about to do." louis said in a pleading voice.
i turned my back on him to look over the waves at the sun slowly disappearing
"my aunt jumped off this cliff to her death 3 years ago." i said
"arabella, you can't change the past. no matter how shitty it is. believe me i know. the only way is to let go and move on."
i finally turned back to face him.
"well maybe my way of letting go and moving on is to do the same. to join her." i said my tears flowing down my cheeks like never ending streams.
"arabella... don't. please"
i turned away and walked to the very edge of the cliff and looked down. i turned back to see him one last time. his brilliant blue/green eyes, his perfect jaw line, his flawless brown hair. to my last glance at him, then i turned away as my feet left the ground as i began my jump which would lead to my death.
"ARABELLA!!!!!" i heard louis scream. i hear his foot steps pounding the ground slightly above my head.
all of a sudden the falling stopped and i was dangling in the air. i looked up to see louis breathing really hard and holding me suspended over the cliff.
"louis let me go. i can't take it anymore."
"no, mikayla lost her life saving me and i would gladly do the same to save you. i can't lose anyone else in my life right now. i can't lose you arabella and especially not this way." he cried looking down to me with tears flowing down his cheeks.
"why? why me?"
"why does there have to be a reason?"
"because that would be a reason to live right now."
"fine. because i ... i ... i love you arabella starling. okay? i love you, i love you, i love you. is that enough reason to stay? there are people here who love and need you. i need you in my life. you light up my life arabella, like no one ever has. i love you and need you."
i was speechless it was like my whole world just stopped and louis and i were the only ones on the planet.
i felt myself being slowly pulled up, until i was eye level with him. he pulled me slowly back onto the cliff edge and into his arms. he collapsed to his knees holding me tightly. i was shaking and crying of hysterics.
once i finally pulled myself together i got the courage to look him in the eyes. his eyes showed many emotions, some that i could not place but one i saw was love and compassion.
i slowly leaned in and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
"louis?"
"yeah?"
"just o you know i love you too." i said as i smiled at him.
he leaned in again to kiss me but before i could kiss him back i felt my eyes close and i fell into what seemed a never ending darkness.
