Ere to the Dragon

My decision was final. With only 2 words I sent my mother's body to the burning flames. She shouldn't mean anything to me since she was a bad mother (or so said my father). Why did I feel so guilty about my decision.

Once I left the training room I was taken back to my room by Alberta. She made me take a bath and then started to braiding my hair. She was trying to make me look presentable for the nobles of the Dragon. The most important, and loyal friend of my father. They would finally meet their future Queen.

After finishing my hair she placed a golden crown with rubies incrusted with in it above my head. Then she moved toward the closest to pull out my ball gown. It was a long black and gold gown with a log back and no sleeves so that the dress wouldn't interfere with the marking. Once I slipped into the dress Alberta started with my makeup. A few minutes later it was time to leave, so I put on some golden heels and went into the throne room.

As soon as I walked in the everyone stopped talking and turned toward me. "Dear Nobles, Queen, and Kings. Today we present are Ere to the Dragon. This is my daughter. Felicity Dark. She is a fighter. A worrier in the making. She is the smartest person in world, and will son be Your Queen." My father said and everyone started clapping.

"Today she faced a challenge that has earned her my trust, and as well her kingdom's trust. She didn't elate her blood com between a betrayal. She is has a thought mind skill that will be one day be her greatest aside in battle." She said while coming towards the fire and pulling out a metal band that was used to imprint the mark. 

That was the time. The time for me to walk up to the fire and turn toward the audience. I took of my coat and the got on my knees. "Long live the Dragon." I said and them the burning metal touched my skin. At first It burned, and the pain was unbelievable. However I didn't scream.

After A few moments It was over and everyone come down one there knees in front on me. "Long live the Ere to the Dragon." Everyone said and then the ceremony ended and the party started.

This was a small chapter, but I felt like I left you guys wondering about last chapter. I will post later this week a new chapter with more words. I PROMISE!!
