Chapter 3

I slowed my breathing down so they couldn't hear me but then I heard a bang coming for the back room my only thoughts were they can't find Sophie they just can't . So I knocked over a heavy dresser that was in the attic. Just then the attic door flew over and they were standing there scanning the room before coming in then the guy with the hoodie said with his deep voice " come on out Girlie there's no where for you to run"" that scratch on your arm must hurt so bad that your holding your voice so we can't hear crying in pain am I right" said the other guy. " who are you guys ?!?!" I screamed. " oh you could just call us the two cause you will be dead by morning anyway you and your siblings"" oh yeah we know who are Rachel" that's when I went into a state of fear they knew my name so they know Noah, Emily , jack and Sophie names too who are these guys they said call them the two.

I was in deep thought that I didn't notice that they had figured out where I was hiding. I next thing I know was that the box I had been hiding be hide was about to be broken with a axe. All I could hear was a large bang and the floor cracking under me." Got you now Rachel give up now while you still can" the guy with the hoodie said, "no!" I said then I hit the floor with my might he was about to grab me when the floor under me

broke. I had fallen on to the master bed if I had fallen anywhere else I would have been hurt bad. I looked up at the hole me saw the two men starring at me with evil smirks on their faces. After I looked one more time I ran out of the room in search for Sophie. When I got to the back room Sophie was still sound asleep where I had left her. " come on Sophie you have to wake up now" I said as I whispered in her ear . "Rachel what's wrong?" Then she had seen my bandaged arm " Rachel how did you get hurt?" " will tell you later right now we got to run and hide there are bad guys who want to kill us .. So can you brave and keep quite? "" yes Rachel" Sophie said with a shaky voice. So I grad her hand and we snook out side and when we were in a safe place I yell at the top of my lungs" RED BLOOD!!". After I yell it was silent that you could only hear the bugs ,crickets and the sounds of water coming from the lake. Then 5 minutes of silents we hear a scream which sounded like Emily's scream so me and Sophie got to our feet and ran to where the scream had come had from, I think it must had been a 15 minute run though bush with the leaves of branches hitting you as you run. I was holding Sophie's hand so tight that her hand wouldn't slip form mine , she complained that I was running to fast so I told to get on back once she was on my back I continued to run. When we reach a opening in the woods we saw that the hoodie guy had found Emily and was standing over her with a big knife in his hand about to hit her when Noah came out of no where and tackled him to the ground. Emily hurried to her feet and hugged jack who followed be hide Noah before he tackled the hoodie guy. The hoodie guy was struggling to get Noah off him with his hands. He had lost his knife when Noah had tackled him. It was maybe 3meters away from them once he had spotted his knife he threw Noah off him. Noah went sailing in the air he hit the ground pretty hard cause you just hear the thud from Noah and a loud scream of sharp pain. I can't just stand there when he screamed like that. So I let Sophie down and told her to stay there. "Noah!!!" I said as I ran to his side to make sure he was okay. As I was looking at him I noticed he had a scratch on his knee that looked the deepest red the looked like a stream from his knee to the ground. I was in shock I covered my mouth with my hand while I silently started crying. I was wondering why did out summer turn out like this? Why did I make us slit up? Why!!!! I keep yelling in my head. Just then I heard jack and Emily screaming I turned my head fast and seen the hoodie guy coming at me an Noah with the knife in hand.
