Elora: Hi Outlanders! Sorry for the short chapter previously, I'll try and make this chapter longer than usual, so stay tuned ^^

"...as far as I'm concerned", I ended my speech about my life outside this Land. Chessur had listened to it the whole way without looking bored or uninterested, he was a better listener than Liz could ever be. We were still on our way to the Hatter and the March Hare, but I didn't know how long we still had to walk or how long we were already walking, it seemed like only minutes for me, was it because of the talking? Couldn't be, I had this feeling since I fell trough the hole, time was going faster here. Chessur was looking at me now, trying to read my expressionless face. He frowned. "What's the matter, miss Alice?", he asked me with a soft voice that didn't fit his appearance. If you would only look at the Cheshire Cat without hearing him talk, you would think he was some kind of detective with his wild hair but sofisticated clothes and face. He looked important, but when you heard him talk, you would think of him as a loyal companion, a cat. Oh, the irony. Chessur was still waiting for an answer, "Nothing Chessur, I was just thinking about this land", I said and added a smile, "How long until we reach the Hatter?", He took a watch out of his pocket, almost the same one as me except that this one doesn't show you time, it shows you a road. "We have to turn left here and then straight on", he said, putting away his watch and taking my hand. I looked at it with big eyes, why did he do that? "Chess, why are you holding my hand?", he looked at our hands and quickly let go, blushing. "I am so sorry, miss Alice!", he didn't say anything else and remained silent until we reached a crossroad.
There were only two ways, Queast and Snud, wich I've never heard of in my entire life. I raised an eyebrow and looked at Chessur, who was concentrating on something in the distance. I didn't say anything, I don't want to embarass him again. It was silent for a few seconds, until he looked at me and smiled again. "Change of plans, we have to go around to Queast, otherwise the Knave of hearts will see you", Instead of taking my hand, he grabbed my wrist and guided me. We were going Queast (East?) and I couldn't protest ofcourse. Oh, the questions were popping in my mind, so many questions. My head was pounding again. "Chessur, I need to rest for a few minutes", He looked at me and immediatly let me sit on a treestump. "Is everything okay, miss Alice?", I nodded in response. "My head was just hurting.", he looked at me and studied my face again. "Does you eye still hurt?", he asked suddenly out of nowhere. I was confused, it didn't hurt untill he mentioned it. It was stinging again. "Well, it does now", the Mark in my right eye, had the shape of crescent moon and was green like my original eyecolour, while the rest of my eye remained white. I received it when I looked into the blue sun, how foolish of me. "Sorry to interrupt you thoughts, miss, but if we don't continue now, we won't make it before nightfall", he said worried, his voice was sharper this time like it was something bad, travelling at night. But I didn't resist, stood up and let him grab my wrist so he could pull me in the right direction.
It was getting louder and I now realised why Chessur was so worried. I heard a lot of strange noises, like wild animals living in the forests, and it was a gigantic forest with trees reaching high up in the sky and many of them so you couldn't see trough them. I shrugged and walked faster so I didn't got lost, not like that was even possible. Chessur held my wrist tight and I couldn't even pull it away. I think I might have a red arm or even a bruise when he'll let go of me. He laughed shortly and we stopped for a second. He pointed in the distance, "You can see the Hare's house from here, miss!", he said. I closed my eyes a little so I could see better and indeed, a little house with large ears was visible from afar, was it the cat eyes, because he had no trouble finding the house, while I had to blink a few time to make sure my eyes didn't water from scrunching them like that. "So, it's not far anymore?", he smiled again, like only the Cheshire Cat could, "Not far, indeed", he replied and we continued our way.
