They don't remember

Preston pov.

I was sitting in the waiting room. Abby, Jerome, Vik, and I were waiting to see Madie, Mitch, Lachan, and Rob. Sub, choco, Brandon, and mat stayed at Madies house for questioning with the police. Sub said he was coming right after. "It's going to be ok." I said to myself. It has to be. It has to. "Preston, hello Preston." Abby said waving a hand in front of my face. "Yeah?" "They called us. We're going to see them." Abby said holding my hand. The doctor lead us into a hallway. "So Madeline, Robert, Mitchell, and Lachan are very lucky." The doctor said. He stopped next to a room. "But there is some bad news." We all looked at him in fear. "They are all in a coma. They all should wake up. The bad news is, we don't know when or if they will have amnesia. They're in this room. You can go see them." The doctor opened the door to the room. We all walked in slowly. Madie and Rob were in beds on one side of the room while Lachan and Mitch were on the beds on the other side. They had iv's in their arms and tubes down their noses. It was a scary sight. "They will be ok right?" Jerome said. "Yeah. They are pretty strong right?" Vik said. "Yeah. They will survive right?" I said. Abby said nothing. She just walked over to Madie's bed. She sat down on the chair, reached for Madie's hand. Abby then just started crying. "Abby it will be ok." Vik said walking over and hugging her. Jerome sat in the chair next to Mitch's chair. I just stood there. Two of my friends are in a coma, my boyfriend is in a coma. My best friend, my sister is in a coma. Someone should have gone with her. We all should have all attacked the guys. Someone should have called the police early.

Time skip to a week later

"Hello?" I said. Abby, Jerome, and Vik were talking at our lunch table when someone called me. "They did?! He did?!" I almost yelled. They looked at me weird. "Can we go see them?!" Once I heard the answer I ran out of the lunch room. "Preston!" Abby yelled. I stopped and turned around. Vik, Abby, and Jerome are running after me. "Guys they're awake!" I said. They all stopped. "You mean Lachan, Mitch, Madie, and Rob are awake?" Jerome asked me. I nodded. In a second we were in Abby's car driving to the hospital. When we parked Jerome, Vik and I were unbuckling and trying to get out. "Wait." Abby said. "Be prepared if they don't remember us. Play along. Don't break down, ok?" Abby looked at all of us. We nodded and ran in. We all slowed down when we were outside of their room. "Ready?" Vik said. We all nodded and walked in. A nurse was asking them all questions. "Aye hello guys. Do you mind if you all sit in those chairs while I ask them some question?" The nurse said when she saw us. We then sat in the chairs next to Madies bed by the door.  "So do you know your name?" She asked Madie. "Yeah. My name is Madeline an." The nurse nodded then asked them all. They knew their names. That's good. Once the nurse asked them more questions, I got scared. They knew stuff like where do they live and how old they are but not what month it is. "Ok and here's the last one. What is the last memory you have?" The nurse said. "I remember open presents with some random people. I don't remember who they are." Lachan said. "I remember going to my friends Madie house for New Years." Mitch said. "I remember being scared and crying." Madie said looking down. "Oh I remember being in the car on the way to my parents flower shop. It was gonna be my first shift because my first day of school was going to be tomorrow." Rob said. Oh no. "Ok. So you all have visitors here to see you." The nurse said before walking out of the room. "Hey guys what's up?" Mitch said. He remembers us. Jerome got up and hugged Mitch. "I'm so happy you remember me." Jerome said. He started crying. "Of course I would biggums." Mitch said before kissing Jerome. "Um who are you guys?" Lachan asked us. "Well we are your friends." Vik said rubbing his neck. That must be so hard for Vik. "Even you?" Lachan said pointing at Vik. Vik nodded. "Aw but your cute." That made Vik blush. "Actually Vik is your boyfriend so it's your lucky day." I chimed in. Lachan then had a huge smile on his face. Me and Abby got up and walked towards Madie and Rob. In the last few months Abby and Rob have become really good friends. "Hey do you guys remember us?" Abby said. Madie and Rob looked at us. "No. Sorry we're you someone I should have remembered?" Rob said. I think I started tearing up. "We were friends." I say quietly. Abby just nodded and looked at Madie. "How about you?" Abby asked Madie. "No. I can't believe I had friends. I'm sorry but I remember being the nerd in school with no friends, wearing glasses, dorky clothes, and sucking at sports." Madie said shrugging. "Well we should all hang out." Rob said. It hurt. My best friend doesn't remember me. My boyfriend doesn't remember me. I could feel tears going down my friend. Someone bringing me out in the waiting room. Then it was all a blur.
