Y/n POV: I woke up in my bed.

"Ouch" I yelled as I tried to sit up

"She is awake!" Aphmau said as she stood up to come and see how I was doing

"What happened, and why am I in these clothes?" (Pic at top) I asked

"You stood up for Zane and gene attacked you. Don't you remember?" Aphmau questioned

"I remembered standing up for Zane but not about getting attacked. Anyways what about my clothes?"I asked concerned

"Oh well you had cuts. Guessing gene had a knife for some weird reason so we had to patch them up. Which meant we had to change you, but don't worry none of the boys saw you." Aphmau explained

"If I had cuts why didn't you take me to the hospital." I asked

"Because you didn't have deep cuts there was just a lot of them not that big of an emergency."

"Oh okay. Where is everyone?" I asked

"They all left because they thought it would be best that we left you to sleep. I stayed just because I wanted to make sure you were okay." Aphmau said

She got up and opened the curtains

"Ahh light it burns!" I said acting like it was melting but it really did blind me for a second.

"Sorry but I thought you would like the curtains open because you are going to stay in that bed so you can heal." Aphmau said

"But I am fine." I said trying to get up but failing miserably and just causing a lot of pain in my stomach. I really hate gene right now.

"Don't try to get up I will bring you your food and tell your parents you are awake finally. It has been almost a day since you were knocked out." Aphmau said while leaving me in my room

I moved my pillow and a note was under it weird

It read:

Thank you for standing up for me. You are the first one to ever do that for me, so thank you. Hope you get better soon. See you in school?

Wow that is all I could think of.

Zane said thank you.

Just then Aphmau and my parents came into my room so I quickly put the note back and tryed to sit up slowly making sure I didn't cause to much pain this time.

My parents carefully gave me a hug and said they were happy that I am okay.

My dad said " and all of this was for a boy. See what I told you boys are nothing but trouble."

I don't know why but I got a little mad that my dad said that, so I just gave him a blank look. He got the message and stopped talking

My mom said once I finished eating to go to sleep so you can recover. Also in the morning she will ask me if I felt good enough to go to school.

I just said okay while Aphmau handed me chicken noodle soup gave me a hug and said she will be going.

I said "Bye. Thanks for staying here until I woke up."

She said "It was no problem."

With that I ate my soup looked on my phone a little to watch YouTube videos and then I remember the note.

I don't know but for some reason when I looked at it I smiled because that was the first time he was being nice to me. I looked at my window and saw that Zane's room was right across from mine.

Wow how did I not notice that before?

He was reading a book then he looked my way I looked away and blushed. Wait why am I blushing?

Zanes POV:

She is okay. Thank Irene. I thought she would never wake up.

I haven't eaten all day and my parents made me leave my house to get my mind of of things.

I was about to get her attention, but she looked away. Is she mad at me? I really hope not. Did she read my note? I hope she did.

Her mom got into her room and shut the curtains. She is mad at me isn't she? Why does this always happen to me?

Y/n:Before I could look back my mom came into my room and said I should go to sleep and she closed my curtain.

She looked at me and said "are you feeling okay? You look red are you getting sick."

"No it is just hot anyways I am going to sleep night mom" I said trying to cover it up

"Okay night, sweety" my mom said and left my room.

I drifted off to sleep
