Surprise!

Surprise! Part Two

"Alright, here are the decorations." Luna said as she trotted out of the closet, carrying some ribbons and other decorations in the grasp of her magic. "Rainbow Dash, you're going to be decorating the staircase with these fabrics and ribbons as well as putting the curtains on the windows."

"Alright!" Rainbow said excitedly as she flew up into the air. Luna floated the decorations over to Rainbow, who grabbed them with both of her hooves.

"Discord and Fluttershy, you can hang up these decorations on the walls." Luna pulled out some more fabrics and gave them to Fluttershy and the draconequus by her side. "Rarity, you will be arranging the flowers and putting the accents on the ribbons."

"Wonderful!" Rarity took the decorations from Luna and put them in a neat stack on a table nearby.

"Applejack and Pinkie Pie, you may carry the tables and chairs in and put the tablecloths on."

"Yee-haw!" Applejack reared on her hind legs before she gave Pinkie a hoof bump.

"And Finally, Twilight Sparkle and Spike, I would like you to help me set the music stage for the ponies who will come to perform tomorrow."

"Sounds good." Twilight nodded with the a smile.

"I will also be helping the others. Now let's get decorating!" Luna cheered, putting a hoof in front of her.

Everyone else put their hooves on top of hers to complete a circle.

"I'm ready!"

"Yee-haw!"

"Yippee!"

"Yay!"

"Wonderful!"

"Yeah!"

"Yes! Now is somepony supposed to start singing some cheesy song about teamwork any moment now?" Discord joked as he put his lion paw in.

Everypony laughed and raised their hooves (paw, in Discord's case) to the air. "Let's get to work!"

"Hmm.....perfect!" Rarity said to herself as she placed the accents on some of the decorations. Rainbow Dash flew around the staircase and continued to tie the ribbons onto the banisters, with Rarity "checking" Rainbow's work. Meanwhile, Discord and Fluttershy were also hanging up ribbons and other decorations onto the walls. Fluttershy took one side of the room, and Discord took the other. Once in a while, Discord would mess up the color pattern or add polka dots and stripes just for fun. Whenever Luna came by to check his work, he would change them all back to normal. Applejack and Pinkie Pie worked together in carrying the furniture into the room. They got the tables in by using one hoof to lift it on each side and walking sideways into the room. Pinkie Pie could bounce from table to table to put the tablecloths on, making the work much quicker.

"Great work, everyone! We might have been off schedule, but it looks like we're going to do just fine!" Luna called from the music stage as she hovered in the air, carefully putting up some ribbons up with her magic.

"This is fun!" Said Spike as he ran into the room with a small microphone that Twilight hung on a beam over the stage.

"Yeah, I'm happy to be helpin' with the party. Pinkie and I are making great progress." Said Applejack happily as she looked over to Pinkie.

Pinkie was bouncing around, throwing the tablecloths on as she went. "Yeah!"

"Discord is doing wonderfully. I knew he would be a good help." Said Fluttershy with a smile as she put a hoof on his shoulder.
