Your POV

Me and Travis had gone back to our houses. Me, a boiling cauldron and Travis, the one trying to fix the mess. I wish Aphmau would stop shipping us for one second and think about how we feel about this. I know that she's trying to help in some way of hers, so is Kawaii~Chan, but things like this usually go downhill. I had told Aphmau earlier that I was sorry for yelling at her face. She forgave me, but said she was still going to find out our secret, which should stay a secret if we want it to. I picked up my phone and actually made direct contact with Travis, after almost an entire day.

You: hey...

Travis: hey...what's up?

You: can u come over tomorrow? y'know, to sort this stuff out?

Travis: sure thing, sweetheart.

I started blushing like crazy and my heart sped up five times more than my normal heart rate.

You: sweetheart?

Travis: sugar?

You: how is that any better?

Travis: cause you're sweet as sugar

I was getting redder by the second.

You: i prefer sweetheart.

Travis:  :)

I put down my phone and got a drink of water. I swear, if I let him flirt with me anymore it'll be the death of me. On my grave it will literally say, killed by Travis' stupid pick up lines. I finished my water and put my cup in the sink. My mom had given me all her dishes because she had gotten new ones, so I didn't have to buy any when I moved even though I already had some. I had moved out of my apartment because one, it was getting cramped in there and two, I hated the town I was in. I put in some random movie that probably hadn't been watched since I was a kid and tried to get out of the reality I was in. I got up and started cleaning, even though there was nothing to clean, and pretty soon it got late and I headed up to my bedroom. After doing all the "bedtime necessities", I plopped into bed and almost instantly fell asleep. I woke to the sound of my phone vibrating on my nightstand and picked it up. Lucinda had texted me. This late? It was two in the morning. I grinned when I saw her text though.

Lucinda: i gave Travis the wrong potion ;)

(Y/N): r u serious? on purpose?

Lucinda: of course, silly!!!

(Y/N)): well u couldn't have told me that any earlier

Lucinda: oh. sorry. I'll let u get back to sleeping then

(Y/N): if u don't mind

Lucinda: u know i don't

(Y/N): g'night

Lucinda: night

I roll my eyes and lay back down and drift off back to my dreams.

Waking up to the doorbell ringing is actually way more terrifying than it sounds because most of the time you're completely unprepared to face whatever is on the other side of the door. By unprepared, I mean in your pajamas with crazy bed hair, looking at your alarm clock, realizing you slept in till ten in the morning. In shock you leap out of bed, finding yourself trip over the sheets, and then falling into a lump on the floor. Racing back up again, you throw on some clothes, hoping they match, and brush through your hair only like five times. This is my life almost every day.

I speed-walk to the door finding Travis standing there.

"Did I wake you up?" he asked me concerned.

"No. I've been up forever." I replied to reassure him, but didn't.

"Don't lie. Your hairs a mess and you even look like you just woke up." he argued playfully.

"What? So nothing can get past you now?" I joked with him as I let him walk in.

"No. That's not what I meant." he told me angrily. I wondered why he was so mad, but then I remembered Lucinda's late night text.

"I see you haven't fixed your little cat problem." I teased him.

"Oh really? I haven't noticed." he said sarcastically.

"Hey, I'm just kidding!" I stated clearly.

"I know. Just thinking about your puns sends chills down my spine" he said to me shivering.

"Hush. I promise I won't use any more cat puns while you're still a Me'fwa!" I told him, placing my hand on my heart.

     "You promise?"

     "I promise!"

     "Be serious."

     "I am serious!"

     "You sure?"

     "I'm pretty sure!"

He stared at me with a stupid look and I bursted into laughter. After I started to breath again, I looked up at him and he was grinning a little.

"So. Are we gonna talk about the...y'know...kiss?" I asked him.

"Do you just want to forget it?" Travis looked down disappointed.

"No! I don't want to, but I've barely gotten to know you. I really like you Travis, I really do. I just want to know you more." I replied and his head perked up.

"So, do you wanna go out with me?" he said flirtaciously as he got closer to my face.

"Wh-what?" I stammered while my cheeks got red.

"Will you go out with me?" he repeated happily.

"Of course, Travis." I told him smiling.

"You free tomorrow night?" he questioned me.

"Yeah, that's fine." I said replying joyful as ever.

"I'll pick you up around six, ok?" Travis asked me as he started for the door again.

      "Ok." I quietly told him.

"And hey, just wear something casual." he called out to me. I wanted to ask what, but I just stood by the door, watching him leave. I've learned by now that Travis has his own weird way of doing things, no matter how awkward it gets or might seem, which is why I never really want to try his weird ways, but here I am, yet again, left clueless and full of pain, but also love that I hate, even though I want it so bad.
