"Why can't we just use magic to make this stupid potion" Tara asked turning around towards Alexia and Joey's table.
"Because.. Well... Uh" Alexia replied
"Exactly." Tara began to wave her hands at the items in front of her and closed her eyes to concentrate.
Suddenly Ms Montgomery appeared in front of Tara. "Does that ever work well for you Ms Richards?" Tara opened her eyes and stopped what she was doing. "Just work with your partner Tara." Her flat like heels began clicking on the floor once again and got further and further away from their table.
Tara grabbed a hair tie from her arm and threw her hair into a messy bun.
"Can you pass me that" She said pointing
He looked up and looked around trying to find what she was talking about until he realized it was his phone."Why do you want this?"
"Because your not gonna do anything useful with it for the class"
"Since when do you care about class?"
"Since I realized that the faster we get this done the faster I can get away from you"
"Tar.."
She had a tired look on her face. "Can you please.."
"Fine." He grabbed his phone and handed to her.
"Thank you. Now.. How that hell do we start this.."
"Joey that's wayyy too much" Alexia yelled
"No it isn't, we measured Lex."
"Yeah which is why I'm saying that's a lot more than we measured."
"Ugh. Just pour it yourself"
Alexia grabbed the beaker from Joey and slowly started pouring.
"Hey so what do you think of the new guy?" Alexia looked up and pointed towards Ethan
"Uh.. I don't know.He's cute for sure though, why?
Alexia kept her gaze at him. ".. I was just asking, he seems.." She stopped trying to find the word. She dropped her gaze."I don't know.."
"Already over Jason?" She said chuckling
"Shut up."
Jason was Alexia's crush for the past year. They always flirted back and forth but she didn't think that he actually liked her.
"Lex! That's wayyy to small. You have to add more than that" She yelled
Alexia sighed. "Ugh."
"Hi, I'm Nathali-"
"Yeah..ok so you can probably do all of this by yourself right?" Ethan said smirking towards Nathalie
Nathalie kept working."What makes you think that?"
"Well a teacher wouldn't usually put some random student with a new student just for fun and you always ask for extra credit right? So you can just do this.. And well I won't."
Nathalie looked at him with angry glare."Excuse me?"
Ethan smirked at her and leaned back in his chair. "What? I'm new and well I have to get the hang of things don't I.. " He said with the same look in his eyes from when he had entered the class. "Don't think of it as you doing all the work, just think of it as you showing me how this class goes or how these assignments roll out."
Nathalie felt her anger bubbling up. She thought about using her magic on him but it would just backfire and get her in trouble."Fine, but you have to do something."
"I am doing something. I'm supervising."
At this point she couldn't stand him and wanted to teach him a little lesson.
She looked down to the feet of his chair and started making it wobble back and forth attempting to flip it over. While she was doing this Ethan caught on to what she was trying to do and began doing the same thing except he was successful. As she was falling he stopped the chair and she was able catch herself on the table just in time and stood up to pick up her chair.
"Are you serious?"
"Atleast I stopped it before you fell. Were you gonna?"
Gunnng
There was suddenly a storm outside.
"How is that possible? Don't we have a weather shield around the campus?" Alexia asked as she walked over to the window.
"Everyone take your seats. It's probably an error with the shield." Ms Montgomery stated in a calm voice.
The thunder was thumping in their ears getting louder and louder. It wasn't like the sound wasn't even outside it was like the thunder was specifically inside their ears screaming at them.
As the storm grew louder it also grew closer.

"Good Morning" a voice began speaking from the speaker. The same voice.
"Do not be alarmed, we just have a small issue with the shield. But don't worry it will fixed and working in a couple minutes."
Ms Montgomery looked up and sighed. "Well you heard her, it will be fixed in a couple minutes so everyone get back to work. We only have a couple minutes till the class ends."
The class sighed but still began to continue their work
Alexia kept looking at the new boy, Ethan, from time to time.
"Gosh Lex, your gonna burn a hole in him if you keep staring." Joey teased
Alexia ignored her looked back down. "Okay so who's gonna be the Guinea pig?"
Joey looked at her with eyes that yelled are you crazy?!
"What if that makes us bald or worse hairy, like every where"
"Joey, we used the ingredients needed to make the "love potion" she said with applied air quotes. "It should work, and it won't even be for that long."
"How about you try it on Ethan, since your so distracted by him already."
"Oh you are so gonna get it when I see Chris."
"I don't know what your talking about"
Alexia rolled her eyes. "Oh please, as if"
