You rang your bicycle bell and smiled at me as you cycled past with your newspapers.

I waved at you with my left hand, my column on the carnival in my right.

I had obviously just missed you leaving the printer publishers.

If I had arrived five or ten minutes earlier, we probably could have discussed our chemistry project.

but I probably bore you to death with my constant rambling about science.
