Once again there will be spoilers...
Ok so this movie also plays a big part in the theory as well. So in this movie, we see that people have been givin powers by the government to fight evil. But wait, the government are also helping the bad guys? Syndrome says that he was given supplies by the government for his project 'Kronos'. So which side is the government on?

To be honest, I don't know.

Syndrome also uses a science called 'zero point energy'. He uses this real energy to power his monster thingy. Speaking of the monster, let's talk about its purpose.

The monster is designed to fight. As it fights, it gathers data about the other thing fighting it, making it smarter and smarter. As it gets smarter, it learns more flaws in the thing fighting it, therefore leading to the object's downfall. So that's kinda scary, super machines that shoot and stuff.

So now we have this powerful zero point energy floating around that can bring objects to life. Objects coming to life? Going against their owners? Sound familiar?...
