Spoiler alert (yeah all chapters will have spoilers)
Toy story one:
This movie is a classic!!! Anyway, so the zero point energy has gotten into the toys of children everywhere, giving them the ability to move talk and think.
Toys are beginning to explore relation ships with other toys (bo peep and woody) and humans(Andy). They are beginning to see good (Andy) and evil (Sid) in the world.
Toy story two:
Toys are beginning to feel resentment for humans, because of abandonment and mistreatment. This is the beginning of the object apocalypse.
In the three movies, we explore another power source: human love. Without human contact and love, objects become grumpy and unhappy. For example, after being in storage, Stinky Pete and Jessie are irritable because they haven't had human contact in a while.
