'I can't BELIEVE he's back! I mean, everyone else remembers everything, but Eren doesn't seem to. Hopefully Captain- I mean Levi doesn't remember it either,' Mikasa thought before being interrupted by Eren, who was waving a hand in front of her face. "Mikasa? You there?" He teased, getting her attention. She smiled. "Oh, sorry Eren. What do you need?"
"So, what do you think of him?" Eren asked, gesturing at the new kid. Though he hadn't said his name, anyone who remembered their past lives knew who he was. Captain Levi, leader of the Special Operations Squad, and Humanities Strongest. "He's a bit strange." Mikasa said.
"I dunno. He's kinda familiar," Eren said, tilting his head as the bell rang. They had 3rd period as a free class, so they headed to their usual study hall, joking and laughing with each other before Eren ran into a short, hooded figure. Both boys fell over, Eren landing on top of the smaller male in a rather... awkward position. His green eyes met steel blue ones before Armin dragged Eren off the other male.
"S-sorry, sir, I didn't mean to-" Armin started and cut off, dropping his books. "C-captain!" He saluted the man who he knew was Levi. The hood had fallen from Levi's hoodie, reveling the pale face and scowl. Eren was confused, looking at Armin. Mikasa was also saluting Levi, one hand over her heart with the other behind her back. "ummm... anyway..." Eren said, looking at the boy who Armin had called Captain. "I'm Eren. Eren Jaeger. We had classes together this morning." He stuck out a hand, and Levi, after putting on germx, shook his hand.
"Levi. Just Levi," Levi said before letting Eren's hand go. Something seemed familiar about the green eyed brat, but before he could think of it any further, Hanji jumped on his back. Acting on reflex, Levi flipped her over, pinning her to the ground and placing a conver on her neck. "What the fuck, Shitty Glasses?!" He snarled, shoving her away.
Armin flinched. "Still strong as ever, sir." Levi looked at Armin. "What the-" but before he could finish, Jean walked around the corner with Marco, Connie, and Sasha. They all froze at the sight of their old Captain. He was still short, though they wouldn't DARE bring up height to him, and had the same hair cut. Most of all, the familiar scowl was still there.
They dropped their stuff and saluted Levi the same way Mikasa and Armin were doing. "Sir!" They all said. Eren, on the other hand, had no idea what was going on. "What the hell, guys!?" They all looked at him before returning their gazes to Levi. "Sorry, captain. Eren doesn't remember," Mikasa said, and everyone cowered slightly as Levi glared at them. "What the hell are you all talking about?"
