Asks Out the Secretary

I think the boys would find it hilarious, actually, because Harry would usually be the one who’d ask about “the girl up at the front” and Louis would be the one to agree with him about how fit she was and Niall would be the one to cackle manically at their indiscreet conversation in front of the entire crew. Sometimes they’d even go bug her or ask her out or get her to at least come back into the booth with them and show off their doodles or whatever they’d been goofing off with while they were waiting to record. But Liam, though tagging on with the tom foolery once it was started, wouldn’t usually instigate, so it’d be kind of out of character for him to mutter something about the secretary and you know Louis eye’s would get huge immediately and he’d howl as loud as he could, informing everyone within the sound of his (very loud) voice about his discovery. Liam wouldn’t be able to help but laugh—amused, but embarrassed—and sort of knock him over the shoulder with a “Shut up, you donut!” But that, of course, wouldn’t deter Louis as he gathered the other boys and they’d all tease and pick and push him up the hallway towards the front desk, finding way too much enjoyment out of poor Liam’s fancies. But since he’d really meant what he said, he’d go along with it, never mind his reluctance and nerves. Because really, if it wasn’t for them, he’d probably never do anything about it and he knew that was no good because hey, what if she was as wonderful as she had seemed in their brief interaction that morning? And even if not, at least it’d be one heck of a story to tell about his crazy band mates—embarrassing each other one awkward situation at a time.
