My Top 3 Favorite Pokemon Games

Number 3: Fire Red/Leaf Green. 

I know these were the remakes of Red and Green (Which I played), I just like these ones a little more. They were a little updated, and one of the first few Pokemon Games I ever played...However they weren't number 1

Number 2: Diamond/Pearl

This one some people might disagree with me. I really enjoyed playing Diamond and Pearl (I played Diamond version). It introduced some awesome pokemon and the gameplay in my opinion was GREAT. That's why I put Diamond and Pearl on my number 2 slot.

Number 1: Heart Gold/Soul Silver

Once again, I know that these are the remakes of the original games... Which I also played... I chose Heart Gold/Soul Silver as my favorite pokemon game for a few reasons... First of all, you can go back to Kanto...That was an AMAZING feature in my opinion, and I wish they kept that in other games... Also, your pokemon followed you...I know many people did not like this, and they didn't keep it in future games, however I thought it was a fun, new thing to Pokemon games. That's why this game was my favorite. They also introduced some cool new legionaries (They didn't really introduce it, it was Gold/SIlver, but I'm counting them as the same).

I also want to explain why the other games didn't make it to my top 3 list... FYI, when I said Leaf Green/Fire Red, that also includes it's original remake and extra (Red, Blue, and Yellow) Same with Diamond and Pearl, it includes Platinum. And Heart Gold/Soul SIlver include Gold and SIlver.

Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald... These games introduced three awesome new legendary pokemon... I really love them... Especially Rayquaza. Kyogre and Groudon were awesome, but aren't my favorites However, some reason, I didn't really like the gameplay of the games... It wasn't as entertaining in my opinion. Plus I don't really like Team Magma and Team Aqua... They're not bad, but not my favorites...

Pokemon Black and White... I'm more of a fan of the games gen 4 and lower... I don't hate Black and White, but I don't love it... 

Pokemon X and Y... Like I said for Black and White, I'm more of a gen 4 and lower person... I didn't really enjoy these games as much...It could be because I played it when I'm older, so I don't enjoy the games as much, but I don't know

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Omega Sapphire... I never really played these games... So I don't know xD
