Their lips were red, they had to stop if they didn't want to hurt each other.

But Paul was afraid of that. Afraid of John's reaction, after all, he is still drunk.

He could taste it.

They separed and looked each other. Not saying a word.

Paul was thinking too much, he stoped himself. And John... John seemed empty.

His look made Paul nervous, he stood up but John kept on the floor.

"John I... I think that you shou-"

"Shut up. It's better when you don't talk". John stoop up too.

Paul couldn't look at him. He felt so nervous and he was blushing.

John put his fingers on Paul's chin and made him look up. Then, he kissed him again.

Paul's heart jumped.

"What is this?" They heard someone.

Paul broke the kiss abruptly.

"Ritchie! what are you doing here?!" he started to panic.

"Just saving your fucking life! I mean, door open? Seriously? How the hell are you two so stupid?! What if someone else... oh god, I almost can't believe it".

"Okay calm down, it didn't happen right? Anybody, but you, has seen us. It's okay". John seemed too calmed.

"Yeah... whatever. I came here because I need to talk with John". Ringo was calm too. Now Paul started to worry. Why is everybody so calmed? And Paul felt so embarrased.

"How did you know that John's here?"

"I went to his house and Mimi told me that he was probably here, so..."

"What do we have to talk about, Richard?"

"About what you asked me to do the other day... y'know". Ringo lowered his voice.

John nooded.

"What?! You both are still friends? I mean, you still talk with Ritchie? Why? No offence, but why?" Paul interrupted.

"Don't worry Macca, it's something about money. You won't understand. Richard, let's go. We need to go to my house".

Paul felt furious. John was calling him a kid? Won't understand? Money? Paul was confused but angry. He didn't want to hear that conversation.

"Yeah, get out. It's too late for you both being here". Paul pushed them out.

It felt weird. Paul closed the door and sighed. He could just think about that kiss. And the questions came to his mind. Is John THAT drunk? No. Impossible. John wouldn't do that. Not even drunk.

But he did it. And that's all that matters.

He is not angry, he didn't hit Paul again. Everything was perfect except for one little detail.

Jess. The new "girlfriend".

"Your problems are boring. You should hear mine". George stood up and made some tea.

"My problems are REAL problems. Yours are stupid child problems". Paul took the cup of tea that George just made.

"Your problems are GIRLS problems. "Oh I love him, but NO! I hate him! But UGH he is SOOOO cute! And blah blah blah"". George replied with pitched voice.

"Yeah man... maybe I'm the stupidest boy on the earth, but my problems, man, my problems are real serious shit". Paul leaned back and drank some tea.

"...And with that dirty mouth you drink my elegant tea..."

"But hey, tell me your problems, come on! I'll help ya" Paul smiled. He knew that they were stupid, easy to resolve.

"Okay you better get ready". George ate some of his sandwich. "The other day I was walking to school with my girlfriends-"

Paul almost spit his tea of laughter.

"WHAT? Oh my god George don't be so funny! How many girlfriends do you have, eh?" Paul couldn't stop laughing.

"Two". George blushed. He didn't know how to lie.

"Don't make me cry man, please be realistic with your story, okay?"

"The thing is... that I sa- we saw some guys coming. And they were, y'know just messing around. They suddenly saw me and started to laugh of me, so I was like "hey what's the problem" y'know, and they didn't stop laughing. I got angry so I shouted something very offensive-"

"What did you shout?" Paul was still smiling.

"Something bad. It doesn't matter. So, they just pushed me and I pushed back and well... we started a fight".

"And what happened?"

"They left me on the ground. It was sad". George seemed embarrased.

"Oh... and who are those guys? Are they from your school?"

"No, they're from yours. I think that they're in John's class".

"I can imagine who they are. Typical assholes. And they're all John's friends".

"Uh... I see. Whatever, it won't happen again". George finished his tea.

John left the money on his bed. Watching it. He knew that he was a bit drunk, so he lied on his bed to sleep some hours.

He dind't know what to think about. An important thing with Paul just happened. And another important thing was about to happen.

But five minutes later he was slept. He didn't think too much.

-

When he woke up, he ran to the door, not saying a word to Mimi.

Ringo was outside, smoking. Waiting for John.

"You're ready?" Ringo spoke while he trod his cigarrette.

"Yeah. Let's do this". John started to walk and Ringo followed him.

-

"Thanks". John took the keys.

"You're very welcome. Enjoy it". The man smiled.

John sat on his new car. The only thing he wanted to do, was drive it. Ringo smiled.

"So... you're going to your house?"

"Yeah... can we go in your new awesome car?".

"Of course Richard, it'll be a pleasure". John said sarcastically.
