Begin the Mission

A.N. For now we're going to assume that You Show already had students that Yuya will get to know and start after that.

A shadow descended on Miami as Yuya stared out the window. It had been two days he'd been here. Almost every second he was forced to spend with his mother, an odd overly affectionate woman. But he was wasting time here.

"Yuya." Came through the door, "Yuzu's here and she wants to talk to you."

Sighing silently he put on a smile. "Coming." He yelled down the stairs.

Yuzu strode into the house with a worried look.

"Yuya a man representing your father's last opponent before you disappeared Strong Ishijima, offered you three chance to duel him in your father's stead since you're back."

That's what had her worried? A simple duel? But that's good his father is supposed to be a serious subject.

"I don't know." He replied trying to act somber.

"I told him you wouldn't be interested, would you?"

"I don't know." He repeated. "I think I will I owe it to him to try." Besides turning down a duel was not the Academy way.

"Surely not, Yuya, this man is a world champion. You could get hurt." His mom chimed in.

"I'd like to take the chance." He said firmly.

"Oh well I guess your stuck on this, whats a mother to do?" That effectively shut down the conversation and allowed him to return to his room to prepare for a duel he intended not to lose.

An odd thought tugged at the back of his mind, why not just complete the mission and take her one day at the school?

But another part wared and said it was good chance to scout for the Academy and see and value this dimension may hold for the academies mission.

The debate continued as he decided to test the limits of what these people knew about real dueling and about winning.
