Chapter 14

Hana POV

I ran down the halls and stairs nearly tripping up over myself, the rest of the boys were standing by the door. Kai opened it and I ran past him and I stood on the steps up to the house.

And there was where I saw him with Tao. Tao was helping him out of the car, my father looked so fragile and thin. I ran over and soon as he stood up properly I hugged him.

I missed him so much his hug meant everything to me, it was my sanity, my old life, had came back to me.

"dad! I missed you so much!" I say to him hugging him a little tighter.

"oh Hana... I've missed you so..." he said weakly, we pulled apart and I looked at him in full detail.

His clothes a off colour from wearing them so much, they also hung off him, since he was thinner and skinnier. I could see more wrinkles on his face and bags under his eyes, draping dark circles. His boney neck and features caught me off guard.

"father... What's happened to you?" I asked worryingly.

"oh I'm perfectly alright" he coughed "just a small cold, must be from the damp"

"I'm so glad to see you again" I say hugging him again. "I've been worried about you..."

"honey... Sweetie..." we pulled apart and cupped my face "I'm alright... I was more worried about you"

"I'm just glad I could see you again " I say, I thought I was never going to see my father in such a long time, I have been trying to brace myself for the up coming years of loneliness without him. But seeing him here... I'm trying not to cry, I'm just so happy to see him right now...

"I know honey, I brought more of your things, even a little gift but ill show you that later on" he said I smiled, as we walked in, Tao was behind yawning his head off.

"Tao!" I shouted he Came over looking super tired "thank you..." I reached up and kissed his cheek as a thank you. I smiled and he looked surprised through his tired state, I just smiled and walked with my dad.

"is there something you would like to tell me?" my dad teased and nudged him lightly chuckling.

"you know me dad, more interested in school work" I answer him.

"good cause you can only start dating until your married" we laughed and got into the house the other boys were standing waiting.

"hello sir" Kris bowed forward.

"oh hello" my father replied, the atmosphere didn't feel awkward it was more of a relaxed environment. Once the boys introduced themselves, I ran to help Tao, only to find I had only bag.

"thank you Tao, really" I smiled.

"its okay now you go and see your dad, I've got this" he said carrying my bag I hugged him then ran in to the living room. My dad was telling them a story and they laughed away

"oh it was brilliant, ha, Zenji, my ex wife... Me, her and Hana loved to travel around that area. But the problem was the bugs were such a pest" I came over and sat beside him, the fire was on and we gathered around him "oh it was funny, Hana saw interest in this biker boy at the gas station, he came over to her, he said hi. And get this. She was sick all over him" he laughed and so did the boys.

"I was nervous! He was cute..." I protested sounds like a child.

"I'm just teasing sweet heart, now let me tell you the time Hana and the chef in Paris got on" he started. I jumped to stop him before he could continue.
