dead weight

I dream about you.
There's a foot of air between you and the floor,
Like you're levitating.
Your mother's scarf is looped around your neck,
Staining under your weight.
No draft nor breeze
But you still sway slightly
Like a midsummer tree.
Cold like winter and stiff like rock,
Dead weight is literal.
