Gray's POV
*beep beep* I groaned, hearing the sound of my alarm clock. I reached over to turn it off, but when I reached over it wasn't on my nightstand. I cracked my eyes open, seeing the world blurry I saw the blurred outline of my mom.
"Time to get up Gray," Ur said, turning off the alarm. I shrugged at her before burrowing myself back into my blankets. The sheets were rudely ripped off me, exposing me to the cold, but that didn't bother me, what bothered me was that I was sleeping peaceful until this monster had the guts to wake me up, it was probably gonna eat me, oh well. "Gray get the hell up, I'm not going to eat you." She said before pushing me off the bed. I groaned as I felt my ass in pain. (Not like that you dirty thinkers, or that's just me.) Ur left the room. I got up, patting around my room for my glasses, (I really like the thought of Gray wearing glasses) finally my hand connected with something that felt like they were my glasses. I unfolded them and slid them onto my face. I had always hated wearing glasses due to the fact it made me look ugly and nerdy, that's why no one knew I wore them, not even my closest friends. I then headed into the bathroom to get ready for school.
Time Skip: At School
I've finally arrived at school, a few minutes before the bell rang. I hurrried in so I can grab my books for class (Gray, Natsu, Lucy are in 10th grade, Erza is in 11th). I arrived in Language and Literature taught by Mr. Conbolt. I sat by Natsu who was attempting to balance a pencil on his nose. He stuck his tongue out slightly in concentration, I looked at him before turning around, taking my phone out. I started playing Crossy Road, hoping to beat my record before class started. Natsu, who stop trying to balance the pencil stared at me. He leaned towards me looking at my phone. I felt his presence but chose to ignore it, I continued playing, but I felt Natsu so close to me that my heart started to speed up. I tried to control it, but before I could the bell rang, signaling that class would start. Natsu then returned to sitting normal, I felt my heart slow down and I put my phone in my pocket, right after I put it on vibrate.
Class continued on, talking about the tragic story of Romeo and Juliet, to which Levy excitedly explained. I sat there bored, taking notes once in a while, when I saw I piece of paper fly onto my desk. I opened it secretly, recognizing Natsu's messy writing.

"Oi, are you two passing notes?" Mr.Conbolt asked. I looked at him with a blank expression. I replied,
"Yes we are." He looked at me in surprise, not thinking I was going to admit it. But he then looked at me with suspicion,
"You're lying aren't you Gray?" I continued to stare at him blankly, he turned around and sighed, muttering how he never could tell whether or not I was lying (I did this once, it worked some how). Natsu looked at me in surprise, snickering at how I as able trick the teacher. I then payed attention for the rest of the class period.
Time Skip: Lunch
It was finally lunch, Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Jellal, Gajeel, Levy, Loke, Juvia, and I were sitting at the table. Juvia was clinging to me as usual, clutching me so tight I felt my blood circulation get cut off. I was attempting to peel her off when a teacher told us whoever was getting lunch can go buy it now (This is a system we use at my school so the lunch lines don't get long), I was going to stand up to buy some ice cream when Natsu tapped me on the shoulder. I turned to him in surprise. On his face beheld a mischievous grin.
"Gray I dare you to order the meat loaf, " Natsu challenged. Time seem to stop when he said those words, everyone at the table turned to look at us, everyone knows how awful the schools meat loaf is, it was the one meal that could never be made good despite how good the rest of the food is here. I took a deep breath and looked Natsu in the eye,
"I accept." Everyone gasped as those words left my lips. I then walked to the lunch line, everyone at the table cheering for me. I walked up to the lunch lady, asking her for the meat loaf. She looked at me in shock, before giving me a solemn look and handing me the tray of poison.
"Hey kid, I hope you survive eating that," she said. I gave her a small grin of thanks.
I got my "food" and sat back at the table. Everyone stared, I gulped and brought a spoonful to my face. Automatically a horrible smell invaded my nose, making me silently gag. Everyone wished me luck and told me to rest in peace, I took these words to heart as I put the spoon in my mouth. Right away my taste buds were attacked, different flavors making me throw up slightly as I chewed. I was gasping and choking as I forced my self to swallow. I then forced myself not to throw up. Everyone stared, waiting for me to throw up, Gajeel brought over a trash can setting it by me. Minutes clicked by, and finally after the 5 minutes that people usually threw up during, I stood up in victory. Everyone cheered, the cafeteria looked at us wondering why we were cheering. Natsu stood up bringing my fist up,
"Gray did it! He ate the meat loaf without throwing up or dying!!!" Everyone looked at me in shock before joining in on the cheering. It sounded like a football game in the cafeteria.
It was a great accomplishment, but I didn't attend school for the next few days due to food poisoning.

*Gray and Natsu narrow their eyes at me, I take step back feeling their glares*
Narwhal: Yes, I'm not lying! But I am already writing the next chapter though!
Gray:Really?! *raises eyebrows in surprise*
Natsu: This calls for a celebration!
Narwhal: *growls* What the hell?! What's that suppose to mean?!
Gray: *says bluntly* You usually start them a few days later.
Narwhal: So, what's the big deal then?
Natsu: Well you usually procrastinate.
Narwhal: *says nothing, knowing it's the truth*
Natsu: Ha! Got you there! *laughs in victory*
Narwhal: *growls and pouts* Fine whatever, but I also know that you sneak into Gray's room at night!
Natsu: What, NO! How do you know that?!
Gray: What the hell Natsu?! Why didn't you tell me! I would've entertained you!
Natsu: Huh? What's that suppose to mean?
Narwhal: *chuckles darkly* You innocent child. *Walks away chuckling*
Natsu: Gray what does it mean?
Gray: You'll find out. *walks away leaving a confused Natsu behind*
