Barney's POV:
I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as I got out of bed. I yawned which made my eyes water. I smiled to myself as I walk to my drawer. I got out one of my nicest clothes. It was a black button up shirt with black jeans. I went into the hallway and walked to the closet that stored blankets,towels,wash cloths, etc,. I opened the closet door and grabbed a towel and wash rag. I closed the door carefully and went back to my room. I opened the door to the bathroom and set my stuff down. I undressed and got it the shower.

I put my clothes on and brushed my teeth. I brushed my little too no hair on my head. I put on some cologne and looked at the clock. 8 am. I got up really early. Proud of myself. I went into my boyfriend of 2 years room. I want to stay with him forever. That's why I'm doing what I will be doing. I shook him awake. He sat up and rubbed the sleep out of his Gingerbread brown eyes. I smile at him.
"Goodmorning. Dress up for today. Not too dressy. I'll be downstairs making breakfeast. I love you." I pecked his lips and went downstairs to make us some breakfeast.

After we are breakfeast Red asked me what we were going to do today. I smiled and said "it's a surprise." He made a pouty face but I kissed that face away. Now we wait until 5 so we can leave. I decided that we should watch tv and play xbox.

Soon it was 5. Time flies when you have fun (get out of the gutter) with my red head. I went upstairs and put the box in my pocket. I smiled and went back downstairs. "Ready to go?" I ask him. He nods and starts to the car. I grabbed the keys and did the same. I get to the car and unlock it. Red gets in on the passenger side while I start the car. I sat down in the drivers seat and pulled out of the driveway. I start to head towards the restaurant. Red turns on the radio and sings along to the song. I chuckle and sing with him.

Once we get there, I head inside and told the girl that takes us to our seats my reservation. She nods and says to follow her. Once we got seated she asked what we wanted to drink.
"Coke please" I say
"Dr. pepper please."
She smiles and writes it down. She looked at the both of us and said
"You two are cute together" she walked to get our drinks. Soon she came back with them. Then, Red and I started talking about anything and everything. We ordered our food and talked until she brung the food to the table. She finally comes back and gives us the food. Then we started eating.

Once we were done I gave her the top and payed the bill.
"Babe." Red said and looked at me
"Yeah?"
"You know I could have gave her the tip. Why did you do it?"
"Because I love you."
"That makes no sense."
We both laugh and head back to the car. I then started heading towards town that has many beautiful things in. It was 9 o'clock by the time we get there. Traffic sucks. I head towards the little bridge holding Red's hand. I stopped in the middle of the bridge and look over the bridge.
"Beautiful night." Red says
"Not as beautiful as you."
"Aw stop it." He chuckles "thank you."
"I mean it though."
We both look into the water as I got out the box.
Red's POV:
I see Barney take out a little box. Is he? Oh my god. He gets down on one knee and I'm already tearing up.
"Red. The first day I seen you i instantly fell in love. I would always look at you when you weren't looking. Then one day I got the courage to ask you out. I was so happy you said yes. I could possibly the happiest man alive. Red, you have made me so happy. You have been with me through my ups and downs. (A/N I'm crying. No joke.) and we stayed through it all. Red, would you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
My tears already rolling down my face.
"Yes!" I smile as he took the ring out of the box and onto my finger. We shared a long kiss and pull away. He wipes my tears of joy away and smiles at me.
"I'm the happiest man alive. I love you so much Red. More than you think."
I smile as my eyes go watery again. I blink it away and hugged him. He eventually picked me up and still hugging me. I chuckle as he puts me down.
"I love you too Barney."
