Platinum Wings Academy: Did Someome Say Field Trip!

It was now 3:22 and I was almost finished tacking up Picasso. We haven't had riding lessons for a few days because Mr.Galaway had some work to attend to. Things were all changed up now. The girls had there own lesson and so did the boys.

"Are you ready boy?" I asked Picasso as I rubbed his neck. I blew a kiss to Star before leading Picasso out of the stables.

Once I mounted Picasso and entered the arena everyone was here already, other than Mr.Galaway. I trotted up next to Ava and we waited. About 3 minutes later Mr.Galaway walked in.

"Hello girls! I have good news today!" He smiled. "Wednesday we are going to be going on a field trip! It will be a five day trip and it will invole your horses." He smiled even bigger. Heather raised her hand and he called on her.

"May I ask where we are going?" She questioned.

"We are going out of state. We will be going to Tennessee to watch a riding competition. Some of you may be familiar with the riding team called the Riding Machines, am I right?" Mr.Galaway exclaimed.

"YAS!" We all squealed when he mentioned the Riding Machines. They were one of my all time favorite riding teams. I have looked up to them for years!

"Well we will be watching them compete and each of you will get to work with one of the riders and also be in their showcase with them!" All of our jaws dropped. "Now today you all will need to contact your parents and let them know and make sure its okay with them, understand?" Mr.Galaway finished and we all nodded. "Great now let's get started!"

After an hour long lesson I was ready to just fall asleep. I was so excited about the trip, especially since we get to me the Riding Machines and the boys don't get to come!

I walked into my dorm room and saw Ana sitting in the couch watching Criminal Minds.

"Hey Em!" She smiled. "I can't wait until this Friday when we go to the pizza place!" Omigod I totally forgot about my plans with Ana. She was so happy we finally get to do something together, but now she's gonna be so upset. She should understand though. It is a field trip so she should understand. At least I think she will.

"Hey um Ana about Friday... I can't go." I saw her smile fade away.

"W-what, why?" She asked.

"Well Mr.Galaway planned this big riding team five day trip and we are leaving on Wednesday. I'm really, really sorry."

"Oh okay. I understand its riding team stuff. I'm gonna go get dinner with Lani (her friend)." She stood up and walked out.

Well that went just great. She clearly hates me now.
