Lauren's POV
I felt a little bit shaken from what happened a few minutes ago, but I am wondering who is that mysterious hero that have save me from that disgusting men.
She was fast and she can summon fire out of thin air, I am amazed by that, but I didn't saw her face because it was concealed by her hood.
Dang it, I am alone again. I am about to dial my dad's phone when a black Lamborghini stopped in front of me. Its windshield and windows are heavily tinted and I became scared, what if its one of the bad guys again and that mysterious person who saved me will not be able to save me again?
"Lauren? What are you doing here alone?" A voice asked me and I recognized it, I sighed in relief knowing that it was only Y/N.
"Uh, I was waiting for a cab" I said.
"What? But this alley is way too dangerous, some thugs are staying here" she said, should I tell her about what happened earlier? Or not? I choose not.
"Yeah I know, but look I'm safe" I told her.
"I can give you a ride home" she said.
"No its okay, maybe I'll call dad or chris" I said.
"No I insist, its getting late and its dangerous, crimes happen at this hour of the night" She said.
"Okay, thanks" I said and she opened the door for me. Wow this is the first time that I am going to ride in a Lambo. Y/N closed the door. But she didn't drive yet. She then went near me, my heart was beating fast because she was so close. She just put the seatbelt on me. I blushed.
"Well safety first" she said smiling then she started to drive. And there's silence.
"Its so late, why are you going home just now?" I asked her trying to start a conversation, this the first time that I will have a full conversation with her.
"Well I cope up with the homeworks that I missed" she said.
"Oh, I remembered you were gone for two months, what happened by the way?" I asked.
"Well I had an emergency" she said.
"What kind of emergency was that?" I asked her.
"Well sorry I can't tell you, its confidential" she said.
"Oh, okay" I said maybe she's not ready to tell what happened to her yet.
"Sorry" she muttered.
"Hey that's okay" I told her and she gave me a smile, I felt butterflies in my stomach became wild and my heart skipped a beat.
Then a noise was heard, she apologized and pushed a button on the radio.
"Hey kid, how are you?" A voice was heard and she smiled.
"I'm good Tony, how about you and the squad?" She asked with a smile.
"We're great kid, wait why are you calling me by my name?" The man asked.
"Well as you can see Tony, I have a companion inside the car, I'm giving her a ride home" She said while she rolled her eyes.
"Aww, hey guys our Y/N is growing up, she's been on a date with someone" the man said and then chuckled. I heard someone gushing over the radio.
My face heated up in embarrassment, I saw Y/N she was blushing also.
"Aww Y/N you have to introduce her to us" a woman said.
"Shut up Nat, she's just a friend" Y/N said and then rolled her eyes. How I wish that we're something more, wait this is the first time we talked.
"Friend, soon you're going to tell us that you're-" Y/N shut the radio off before the lady can say anything.
"Sorry about that, they can be annoying sometimes" she apologized and I giggled.
"It's okay Y/N, but you have some strange friends there" I said and laughed.
"Well actually, they are my parent's friends, but I became close to them after staying there for 2 months they are like uncles and aunt to me" she said as she turned to the corner.
"Well you're relationship with them is so cute" I said and she blushed.
"Thanks I guess" she said and I smiled. She pulled up in front of my house. She got out and open the car door for me.
"Thanks for the ride Y/N" I said.
"You're welcome Lauren" she said as she tucked her hands inside her pocket.
As I am heading my way to our front door, she called my name, I looked back at her.
"What?" I asked.
"We're friends now right?" She asked me shyly she looks even more cuter. I smiled.
"Of course Y/N, of course" I said giving her a smile, she smiled back.
"Thanks, uh I gotta go" she said and I nod.
And I shook my head with a smile on my face, I saw her drove away. I am so happy that we are already friends.
