Chapter Two

August Alsina

It was 1:23am and I had been out all day. I haven't once called Yn so I decided to text her and let her know I was on my way.

Me(1:23am): hey baby im omw home 😘

Wifey💍❤(1:30am): oh 😒

I sighed knowing I was going to have to deal with her attitude once I got home. I sat my phone down and drove peacefully home cause once I got there it was going to be hell on earth. I pulled into the garage and got out. I made my way inside the house quietly trying not to wake the kids. I eased my way upstairs to me and Yn room.

"So why was you out so fucking long this time?" Yn asked as I closed the door.

"Baby I went to the studio and lost track of time." I told her as I sat on the bed

"So that's means you don't have to call your wife and inform me?" she asked

I sighed

"Do you know me and your kids worry about you when you aren't here?" Yn asked

"I'm so-

"I don't want to here no damn sorry August. You need to get your priorities straight because family comes first!" she yelled

"I will make time for y'all but, Yn this is my dream why you always fucking hating!?" I asked

"Hating? Really August. What the fuck I got to hate for I'm proud of you I just want you to realise you have a wife and children that you need to considered in your 'busy' ass schedule!" Yn yelled.

"I said I will damn!" I yelled

"Mommy?" Ace and Alex said as they came into the room.

Yn sighed and they got in the bed.

"What's wrong babies?" she asked

"You and daddy loud." Ace said laying his head on her shoulder

"I'm sorry." Yn and I said together

"Can we sleep with y'all?" Alex asked

"Yea little man." I said then went over to the closet grabbing some sweats and draws.

I went into the bathroom to take a shower and when I came back Alex, Ace and Yn were laid out in the bed sleep. I sighed because I really needed to get my shit together before Yn up and leave my ass. Anyway I put my dirty clothes away and got in bed with them.

***The Next Day***

The next morning I was awoken to my phone going off. I looked at it and seen it was my manager so I answered...

"Wassup?" I asked while sitting up.

"Hey Aug just wanted to tell you that you have a tour coming up this weekend." he told me

"Alright." I said and he hung up.

"Good morning daddy!" Ace and Alex yelled while jumping on the bed.

"Morning, where y'all mama?" I asked

"To get Aiden shoes." they said at the same time

"I told her I was gonna pick his shoes up." I said as I went to my messages to text Yn

Me(1:23pm): I told u i was gonna get his shoes.

Wifey💍❤(1:31pm): you said that a long time ago and he wanted them now.

Me(1:33pm): my bad tell em i said sorry

Wifey💍❤(1:35pm): he doesn't want to hear sorry. You need to show him your sorry by actually spending time with him.

Me(1:36pm): I will

Wifey💍❤(1:38pm): ik u will this weekend like u said.

Damn I forgot I told Yn I'll be with them this weekend. She's gonna cuss my ass out when she find out I forgot and start tour.

I didn't text her back. I just sat my phone down and went to make me and the twins something to eat.

"Daddy did you make me something." Amari said as she came downstairs

"I'm sorry baby I forg-

"Yea whatever." she said cutting me off and went to make some cereal.

I swear this little girl got her mama fucking attitude.

"Mari you better watch yourself." I threatened

She didn't say anything but she rolled her eyes and took her bowl upstairs.

"Am I a bad daddy?" I asked the twins

They just looked at me and continued to eat. I sighed and went to wash my dish. After that was done I went and took a shower. When I was done I put on my clothes then heard the front door open and close.

"August!" Yn yelled

I sighed because from her tone I knew I did something wrong.

"Yes." I said as I made my way downstairs to see Alex had broken his plate and Ace had syrup everywhere

"I thought you could watch them what the hell is this." she asked picking up the broken glass

I ran my hand threw my hair. Causing her to roll her eyes and just clean up the mess.

I picked up Alex and Ace and went to wash them up. After that was done they went into the play room and I went to me and Yn's room.

"You don't got no where to be today?" Yn asked

"Later on." I informed her

She shook her head and sat on the bed.

"August why does it feel like I'm doing this by myself?" she asked

"You aren't baby I'm trying." I said pulling her close to me

"Barley because it's been like this for years now." she said

I sighed.

"You better step your shit up this weekend because you know Aiden and Amari mad at you." she told me

I pinched the bridge of my noise and got ready to tell her but was cut off by her phone ringing...

"Hello.....yes this is she......for real?.......yes I'll do it.....okay just let me know when and where." Yn said then hung up.

"What was that about?" I asked

"I was just asked to be in a music video." she told me

"Who's?" I asked

"Trey Songz, he seen a video I was in back when I used to model and he asked for me." she explained

"No." I said while shaking my head

"And why not?" she asked

"Because I've worked with Trey and seen his videos. Your not working with him." I said

"You don't trust me?" Yn asked

"I do but I know he likes to touch and I don't want no nigga touching you." I said

"If he touches to much I'll tell him to stop. And you can't talk about nobody being touched with all the bitches that touch on you in your videos." she said rolling her eyes

"Whatever I said no now I got to go." I said shrugging my shoulders and leaving out.
