Chapter One - I don't need a boyfriend, I need food.
“Do you guys understand?” The balding man in front of the room asked. Numbers and letters were written on the board. I never understood math. I was okay with it when it was only addition and subtraction but when I got in middle school, I despise math. I hated it and I hope who ever invented math steps on a lego.
Nodding my head slowly with rest of the class, I looked outside and watched the snow fall. It was a pretty sight, really. The way the snow slowly falls and lands safely on the grass and all you can see is white. The roof of the houses was white, grasses were white, and everything was white.
A knock on the door interrupted our class. Mr. Harris sighed and grumbled something he shouldn’t. He walked slowly towards the door then opened it to reveal the vice principal.
“Good Morning.” The lady wearing a really tight skirt greeted us. Her beautiful blonde hair was in a ponytail. Her blue eyes were dull yet they were so beautiful. She's a really nice lady but some students says she isn't because when she sees you doing something you shouldn't do in school, she'll give you detention before you could even say the word 'shit.' But I know she's just doing her job and sometimes, when I'm late for school, I always see her and she'd chat me with me and like I said, she's a nice woman.
“Good Morning Ma’am.” Our class greeted back. She smiled then motioned someone to go in. Confusion swept on our faces. There must be a new student. I thought.
And I was right.
A really tall boy walked in, his head hung low. He was wearing a leather jacket that hugged his body, showing his broad shoulders. His jeans were tight but it looked sexy on him. My eyes slowly moved towards his face, making my eyes widen. He is gorgeous. His eyes are the one that captivated me. They're brown, a really dark shade of brown. His eyelashes were long and curled. He has a lot of birth marks on his face and it was damn attractive. My eyes scanned his face and all I can say is perfection. But there was something that got me really turned on, his lip piercing. Now, let me tell you; Piercings are sexy as hell, well for me anyway.
“This is Mr. Abella.” The vice principal introduced. All our eyes were on him and he just nodded, offering a small smile. “He’s a new student, please be friendly to him.” We nodded at the statement before the vice principal exited the room. The boy stood there awkwardly near the door and I had to hold back a giggle.
“Alright, Mr. Abella, you can sit behind Ms. Haynes.” My eyes widen at the statement and all the girls’ eyes snap to my direction. Bessy O’connor aka ‘Queen Bitch’ was glaring at me. And I knew the message, he was hers.
It wasn't like I was planning to flirt with him or anything.
“Ms. Haynes please raise your hand.” Mr. Harris said making me snapped out of my trance. I did what I was told. I raised my hand slowly until it was up in the air. The boy smirked at me before taking big steps towards the table. He sat down and I can hear his breathing and it’s making me nervous. I don’t know what I was feeling, this never happened to me before.
It was a good feeling, actually. The way my body reacts is actually kind of funny. My hands started sweating and I pulled the sleeves of the cardigan and hid my hands. My stomach was tickling. It feels like butterflies were inside me. Maybe it’s because a really gorgeous guy was behind me.
Yes, that’s it.
Mr. Harris continued discussing math while I was too busy being too nervous. I looked out again, and watch the snow falls. And in a second, I forgot about the boy behind me.
