-Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Three years earlier-
Izaya hummed quite happily as he walked, almost skipped, around the city. He had just finished with his work and was on his way to treat himself to some of Simon's Fatty Tuna when he ran into a familiar brute, otherwise known as Shizuo Heiwajima.
A smirk slid across his face as he came up behind Shizuo and covered his eyes as he jumped onto his back, shouting, "guess who!"
Shizuo let out a dangerous growl and slammed backwards, pinning Izaya between himself and a wall painfully hard, even for himself.
He grinned when he heard a pained gasp and Izaya faltered, moving his hands away as his entire body went limp and slumped against the body in front of him.
Finally! I caught that bastard!
Izaya groaned in pain as he reached up and pulled away from Shizuo slightly, placing a hand on his own head. "d-damn..." he mumbled under his breath.
Shizuo grinned madly and took a single step forward, letting Izaya drop to the ground before grabbing his throat and shoving him back against the wall.
"I am getting seriously sick of your existance, Flea." he growled out through his teeth. He tightened his grip when Izaya opened his mouth to say something, causing him to whimper and claw at Shizuo's wrist.
"Sh-Shizu-chan..." Izaya chuckled lowly and looked up at Shizuo with defiant eyes, smirking his trademark smirk.
"Oh Poor little Shizu-chan." he had his switchblade out in a second, his smirk widening. "you just think you're so bad, don't you?" he couldnt help the chuckle that escaped him.
Shizuo growled and head butted the raven, causing the reciever to cry out in pain. He grinned sadistically and tightened the grip.he had on Izaya's throat, hearing a satisfying 'crack'.
"it's about time somebody put you in your place." he growled out after hearing the all too familiar switchblade clatter on the pavement below them. "and I think i'm the only One that can do it." he added in a near whisper just before Izaya blacked out from lack of air.
Shizuo carried Izaya to his apartment. He didn't want anyone to know that he had been planning this day for quite sometime. He couldn't exactly tell anyone that he was planning on kidnapping one of the most famous people in the Ikebukuro-Shinjuku area.
He sighed as he tossed the informant's body on a bed and grabbed a pair of handcuffs, holding up Izaya's wrists and cuffing him to the bed.
