hey guys, I just want to thank you so much for your support and reading this pref. book, it means a lot to me to hear you guys like most of it :)
anyway I just thought I would also tell you something... It's not bad, actually it's fucking great
So a while ago I went to a Teen Art Party that the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) holds for teens when they have different exhibitions running. So I decided to invite my life long friend who I so happen to have a crush on.
His name is Patrick and he's really tall, brown curly hair and amazing every thing... Anyway, I got his number that day bc we have only been talking this year as I lost contact with him when I moved houses 8 years ago.
So we went to the art party, I saw some people I knew and we walked around the whole exhibition with my sister and cousin. It was really fun but we went through everything very quickly, so when we were walking towards the cafeteria bit that they have there. Pat stopped me and asked me if we should see if the elevator works, and I was like year whatever, it'll be fun.
We left my sis and cousin and got in the elevator. AND IT STARTED TO GO UP AND INTERNALLY I WAS LIKE WE ARE GONNA GET IN TROUBLE AND KICKED OUT. But it turns out a lady up stairs wanted to go down so we stayed upstairs and we were sneaking around and running up the escolators and it was so fucking cliche. Art gallery dates are MY IDEAL DATE
And then we went back down stairs bc my sis was freaking out. She asked me why i was smiling so much and I said I was happy with how tonight was. When we were getting food, he went and saved us a spot while we were waiting inline and my sis goes to me, " the way he looks at you is so cute, i think he likes you" and I was WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SERIOUS?! WHAT ELSE TELL ME MORE, I LIKE HIM TO
And it was just so asdfghjkl
Anyway we talked for a good half hour, had some food and mucked around. I decided we should have a look at the live music they had there so we were all walking around and it felt a bit awkward between the four of us. Anyway pat and I wondered off again and he was asking if I wanted to go back upstairs, but the way he wanted to go up was the escolator that everyone could see and they had them going backwards so no one could get up. Anyway he ran up the escolator and was signalling for me to go up and I was like HELL NA.
And then this happened

I GOT IN AN IT WENT UP AND HE WAS WAITING AT THE DOOR WITH THE BIGGEST SMILE ON HIS FACE. He was like a little puppy dog! Anyway we hid against a wall bc there was security and then he's like "let's go to the roof" and I was OKAY WHAT EVER YOU SAY
but we ran around and tried so hard to find stairs but there were none. All the doors were locked (for obvious reasons). We were acting like we were spy's and just basically mucking around.
We went up another escolator and there was an exhibition that wasn't finished yet and he simply opens the door for me and says "after you" and I'm like okay thanks babe. Everything was so amazing, it was an aboriginal exhibition they hadn't finished.
We got pretty close in there put then he said something to do with Star Wars bc one of the masks looked like one of the space ships and I HAD TO RUIN IT BY SAYING IVE NEVER SEEN STAR WARS WHICH IS BAD BC HES IN LOVE WITH STAR WARS FML
anyway I ruined the moment, but we still had fun for the rest of the night, I should've have kissed him when I had the chance :(
Anyway, I have talked to him in a while bc I've been busy and he has a full ride scholarship at a grammar school :/
