As I sit here in a state of euphoria,
A 5th of Crown Royal Honey hand held
Metaphors shoot off the dome that I give so well
Mental telepathy as I see her from around the way
Day dreaming of this beautiful entity my heart begins to swell
I can't quite rid my mind of her unique style nor her aura
Diamonds dancing atop our tongues as we exchange gem for gem
Dime for dime
Tit for tat
Potato, tomato, she is a simple conundrum with all the oddities that one can desire full heartedly
To describe her for you...
There is never as sober moment amidst her atmosphere
High rise smiles and eye brows that never frown
Her skin tone is as honest as a slice of life
She is a beauty to behold
Like a young sunset kissing the ocean off in the distance
Birthday suit as raw and true as the Mother Land
Truth
Balance
Order
Harmony
Law
Morality
and Justice
(Ma'at) in the flesh
She is the truth I tell you
Believe me when I tell you this,
I am a blessed man to be enlightened enough to view the revelations of one's soul
Did I mention she was all natural?✊🏾
This is an ode to growth
Another year of blessing our planet with your presence comes and goes
Another day I get to pay homage to the real you
Like the Egyptian pyramids and obelisks reminding us that (hu)man was once perfect and super advanced
I can't let you fall to lower standards
Thoughts like this come easy as the transfer of energy or the creation of matter in the universe
I'm on a wave that spirals realness with every breath
Our fingerprints match the stardust swirls of the galaxies
Our eyes are the stars shining signs of life amongst each other
And this is all for the benefit of one
I am well aware that we may or not be the closest but we travel light speeds with each blink to meet again and again
You shine a little light on my door step and I the same for you (my neighbor)
You sing harmonious melodies with me and my response reverberates with you to your core as we grow closer to God
Open your eyes to the truth, you will be immortalized in this poem,
