Like Father Like Daughter

Neico walked up to the door and went to put the key in the key hole. What she sees makes her drop she immediately pauses.

Leah - K-k-kinnnnngggg ! Leah screams

A bloody, unconcious King laid there lifeless. She knew for sure he was dead and had to have been for a while now.

Leah goes to grab her crying daughter and just holds her in her arms. Tears roll down her face as she walks towards King.

Leah - This was your daddy Nevaeh, I know he loved you alot. Even though you'll never see him again I want you to know who he was.

Leah placed a screaming Nevaeh in his arms and sat there in shock. She went into a daze and started to have a flashback of the day he beat her.

* Flashback *

Leah woke up feeling horrible. King came in the room with food in his hand. Leah ran past him to the bathroom and threw up.

Leah: Ughhh ... I feel horrible. King?

King had dropped the food and left. About 15 minutes later he came back with a bag in his hand.

King: Leah take this test please and don't ask any questions.

Leah went to the bathroom to take the pregnancy test.

Leah: King? I'm ....

King: DANG LEAH !!!!!

Leah: Don't yell at me like this is my fault. You weren't thinking about these consequences when you were on top of me.

King: I AIN'T ASK FOR THIS!!!

Leah: Well ...

* Phone Rings *

Leah: Hello?

Neico: Hey boo, how's life or should I say King!

Leah: Hey sis I'm not in the mood to talk gotta go love you bye.

Neico: Le-....

* End of Conversation *

King: We gotta get rid of -

Leah: NO , ARE YOU CRAZY IMMA RAISE MY BABY TO BE THE PERSON YOU'LL NEVER BE.

King: .....

Leah: Sorry for your inconvenience King. GOODBYE !

King grabbed Leah's arm with hard force.

Leah: King I advise you to let me-

King smacked her across the face cause her to fall to the ground. Blood fell from her mouth and she slowly went unconscious.

Neico - Leah, can you hear me.

Neico took Nevaeh out of Kings blue, pale and cold arms and put her back in her car seat and took her inside. Leah sat their looking at King with rage. She finally could remember what King did too her the night he found out she was having his daughter.

Leah - This explains everything...

Neico- Leah, what are you talking about.

Leah - King , he didnt love me or Nevaeh he wanted me to die when I was pregnant with her. It was all an act he put on to lead us to think that he cared about us.

Neico- I knew it. * she says this just above a whisper *

Leah - I'm calling the police.

She goes in the house and again removes Nevaeh from her car seat and took the clothes off of her that were now bloody from King's chest. She took her to the bathroom and ran some warm water to put her in the tub. She didnt want any memories of King on her or her daugheter.

By the time she got out of the bathroom with Nevaeh the cops where downstairs in the living room talking to a yelling Neico.

Neico - WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO! I HAVE A DEAD BODY SITTING ON MY PORCH AND MY SISTER JUST HAD THAT MANS BABY!!

Police - I'm going to have to ask you to be quiet mame or I can arrest you for neighboorhood disturbance.

Neico- WHATEVER, CAN YOU GET THAT BODY ESCORTED OFF MY PROPERTY AND TAKE YOURSELVES.

Neico went and sat on the couch and noticed a crying later sitting on the stairs holding her sleeoing daughter.

Neico - Leah , Im so sorry .
