Feeling like klunk was an understatement for how I was feeling when I woke up. At least, it could be much worse if I had gotten actually drunk.

I felt a little dizzy, and my stomach was so weak that I was positive: if I ate anything, I'd throw it up right away. It felt like someone had punched me right in the guts. Apparts from that and the general weakness, I wasn't that bad.

I remembered every single moment of yesterday, and I cringed at the many stupid things I had said and done.

I took a look around and realized I still was in Newt's room. Oops, I had fallen asleep on his bed. He probably had to take the sofa, poor little Newt.

Feeling lazy and tired -not to mention the headache - I stood up.

I huffed in amusement when I realized I was wearing Newt's shirt from the inside out. It was a white shirt that reached down almost to my knees and that had the sleeves of a dark blue color.

Even if I loved wearing Newt's shirt, I knew I had to get changed back into my dress and go home, so I did.

Careful not to wake anyone up in case they were sleeping, I walked through the corridor until I reached the living room. There I found Newt sprawled down on the couch face down, his mouth pressed against the seat as he softly snored.

I smiled to myself. He looked really cute when he was sleeping.

When I noticed the phone laid in the table, I picked it up -Newt must have taken it away overnight - and put it in my purse.

I didn't really know the time, but I was going to go home either way. Probably no class for me today. Newt's sister would have to lend me so many notes.

As I headed for the door, a sleepy voice stopped me.

"Where are you going, love?"

Just woken up, his voice sounded even huskier and more perfect if that was even possible.

"Home" I simple said, walking to the door still.

I heard him standing up quickly and taking ahold of my wrist to stop me.

I turned around to face him and had to conceal a little smile. His hair was messy, every tuft leaning in a different direction. And he rubbed his eyelids lazily.

"You should eat something before you leave" He suggested with a sleepy smile.

"I caused you enough trouble already, and my stomach feels queasy anyway" I ignored his hand around my wrist and tried to get to the door again.

Newt pulled on my wrist once more, a little harder.

"Why did you drink, Y/N? We aren't exactly childhood friends, but I bloody noticed your strange behavior" Newt gently held my hand and tugged at it until I took a few steps away from the door.

"A lot's being going on lately" I took a second to look directly into his warm dark brown eyes and then stared at the ground.

Newt didn't say anything.

"Your friends probably think I'm a weirdo" I joked, even if my light chuckle sounded forced.

"They quite liked you, actually" I heard Newt's smile on his voice. "Thought you were funny and nice"

"That's a first..." I mumbled to myself.

"Love" Newt put two fingers under my chin and made me look up at him. "You know you can always talk to me, right?"

I bit my bottom lip as I nodded.

"Yeah, but I'm fine" The smile I showed him next was probably the fakest one ever, but I was too tired to care. "Thanks for everything, though"
