You pick yourself up and follow Sans turning to say goodbye to grillby he waves back and you head out the door. The cold winter air smashes into your face and you stagger backwards clutching your arms together. Sans notices your cold and takes off his black hoodie with a huff and throws it to you. You quickly put it on and the hoodie is surprisingly warm like someone just took it out of a dryer. Your skin absorbs the heat and you jog to catch up with Sans. An awkward silence stands between you to and your heart beats loudly in your ears your nervous.

"Sans?"
Your voice sounds casual but there's still that twinge of fear in it.
"What?"
His tone is harsh and your afraid you did something wrong you search your mind and finally find something to say.
"Aren't you cold? Or can you not feel the cold?"
He chuckles and shrugs his slippers crunching In the snow there soaked but he doesn't seem to notice.
"I can feel the cold it just doesn't bother me"
Curiosity fills you and you continue the conversation.
"Why not?"
He starts to look annoyed but his face stays calms and he shrugs.
"Why doesn't it bother me? Well for one I lived in pure snow my entire life until like two months ago when the barrier was broken. For two .... it just reminds me of home I guess"

His face looks scary again and he looks annoyed so you don't say anything else he turns into another street and you nearly slip on the ice trying to change directions quickly. He catches your arm and helps to steady you out.

"Geez you humans sure are clumsy"
He says it like it's a fact and let's go of you and keeps walking.

After a while of walking you step up to an apartment and Sans opens the door letting you in first.

"Welcome to my home...SANS PAPYRUS GET DOWN HERE"

Two skeletons come down the stairs one is tall the other is short and looks just like Sans the tall one stares at you with curiosity.

"Sans why have you brought a human here? you hate humans but I the GREAT PAPYRUS love them."

Papyrus leans down to you he's really tall he hugs you and you like him already. At your side Andy is wiggling around excitedly. The smaller skeleton smiles at you and kisses your hand.

"hiya i'm sans this is my bro Papyrus whats your name cutie?"

You feel blush rush to you cheeks Papyrus is playing with the Andy on the ground and sans is still awaiting your answer you swallow.

"My name is(y...)"

Your interrupted by Sans pushing you behind him is he protecting you?

"Her name is (y/n) and she is MY guest she is staying with us and I'm protecting her so just leave her be shes not a toy she is mine."

Sans's face turns yellow and he rushes to what looks like the kitchen leaving you and Papyrus completely clueless and sans snickers to himself.

( Sans pov )

I can't believe I just said that out loud (Y/n) doesn't belong to me I just met her for crying out loud. But when my stupid brother sans said that ... when he kissed her hand... I got so angry. Am I jealous? I can't be jealous. I don't get jealous over my brothers especially not sans he is just a lazy baby bones. She must be confused I have to straighten this out.

When I walk into back into the living room I see her sitting on the couch Papyrus is sitting on the floor playing with that dumb dog and sans is snuggled up right next to her. I feel my rage build in my chest my eye wants to activate but I battle against the black fire and calm down. Alright bro you wanna play like that we can play like that. I walk over and plop down next to ( Y/n) and put an 'arm' around her and pull her close to me smiling I look at my brother his eye glitches and he lays his head in (Y/n's) lap and I shove him off with my knee he falls to the floor with a satisfying thud and I feel better.

(Y/n) giggles and gets up crouching on the floor next to my brother and touches his head it sends a spiral of rage through my bones and I grunt.

"Are you alright sans?"

she asks him and it make me angry he smiles and shrugs putting a hand on top of hers.

" I'm fine if you are (Y/n)"

I get down next to her and smile at her pulling her away from him.

"He has a thick skull he is fine wanna get something to eat?"

She giggles and nods and i have won so I take her to the kitchen to get her some food.
