It was 6:30 , everyone should be getting here soon . Dinner was ready . I made baked chicken , Mac & cheese , home made mashed potatoes , corn , and rolls . I sat all the food out on the counter . The door opened . I turned to see Marcus . I still wasn't sure of how I should be feeling about everything .

Me: will you set the table while I go get ready ?

Marcus: sure

I went upstairs to our bedroom . I put on my black skirt & cheetah print strapless top . I put mascara on my long lashes and average eyeliner . Curled my hair & I was ready . Personally , I look great . I took a deep breath and went downstairs . Marcus smiled when he saw me .

Marcus: baby you look great .

Me: thanks

Trey walked in .

Me: didn't momma teach you to knock ?

He ignored what I said and dapped Marcus .

Marcus: what's good ?

Trey : not shit . But look at yall . Yall need a picture .

Trey took my phone . Marcus stepped closer & I put my arm around him . We smiled . Trey snapped the picture then threw my phone back at me . It was a good picture , I should put it on Instagram . "My one & only💕" for the caption .

There was a knock on the door . I opened it and saw Andre & a pretty white girl with long brown, straight hair and was wearing a short , red , tight dress .

Andre : hey , I want yall to meet Olivia .

Olivia: hi , I'm Olivia .

Trey: obviously .

I smacked his arm .

Me: I'm Taylor , Andre's sister and this is my boyfriend , Marcus .

She hugged me . A girl suddenly stepped in behind her .

Girl: Liiivvv why didn't you wait on me?

Olivia : I told your ass not to come .

Andre: bae .. Why is she here?

Olivia: I don't know .. Taylor this is my friend Joseline . Do you care if she stays & eats with us?

Me: uh that's fine

This girl looks like a slut . She's wearing a black dress that looks 4 sizes too small . Her boobs are huge and could pop out any second .

Me: the dining room is the way

I gestured everyone to follow me & grabbed Marcus's hand.

Marcus , Trey , and I sat on one side of the table & Andre , Olivia, and Joseline sat across from us . We began to eat , everything was quiet for the first few minutes .

Me: How did you two meet ?

Andre smiled at Olivia .

Olivia: I was at Krogers and left my keys at the check out & Andre got them for me . We talked for at least and hour in the parking lot & decided to exchange numbers . How did you meet Marcus ?

Marcus: through her brothers

Olivia: how long have yall been together ?

Marcus quickly answered: 9 months and 28 days .

He put his hand on my thigh and squeezed a little . I was impressed that he knew that . I didn't even know the days .

After we ate Marcus said he had to make a phone call . Trey went upstairs to smoke .
