The next morning I woke up happy . I looked up at Marcus who was watching basketball .

Marcus: what you smilin about ?

Me: I don't know , I'm just happy .

I was still smiling .

Marcus : daddy do you good last night ?

I laughed and playfully punched his arm

Me: shut up

Marcus: really tho .. We needa talk .

I looked at him , blankly .

Marcus: I'm sorry about Candace . I honestly don't know if Damien is mine . We used condoms , sometimes .. But she was sposed to be on birth control . But bae , no matta what happens .. You're still the only girl I'll ever want .

Me: I was scared you'd want her back if she does have your son

Marcus : naw , we ended it for a reason . I'm with you for a reason , I love you Taylor ! But take the debit card & go shoppin with Katelyn or whoeva , I'm about to get this over with .

I felt a ball of nervousness forming in my stomach . No matter what he says , I'm still afraid of what's about it happen . But ... I might as well look cute for whatever it is .

Marcus rolled out of bed and went to the shower . I called Katelyn .

Katelyn: hello ?

Me: hey baee , you wanna go to the mall ?

Katelyn : I can't , I have to work .

**i forget she works .. **

Me: oh .. Have fun !

She laughed and hung up .

Katelyn works at a tanning salon , I guess she cleans the beds or somethin .

Maybe Olivia would go with me .. I called Andre .

Andre : hey sis , if you're callin about what happened , I'm sorry .. I swea-

Me: Dre , I told you I'm not mad ! But uhmm is Olivia with you ?

Andre: uhh .. Yeah .. Why ?

Me: do you think she wants to go to the mall with me today ?

Andre: uhhmm you sure ? You ain't gonna hurt her or nothin .. Right ?

Me: ANDRE ! I told you I'm not mad , now fucking ask her .

**2 minutes later**

Andre: she said yeah ..

Me: good , tell her be ready at 2 , I'll pick her up there .

I hung up .

I needed a shower , but Marcus wasn't out .. It's big enough for two !

I quietly got in behind him & ran my hands down his back . I guess I scared him because he jumped & turned around . I laughed

Me: did I scare you ?

Marcus: hell yeah you did !

He pushed me against the wall and held my arms above my head with one hand . He held my waist with the other & kissed me slowly , and passionately .

After several minutes , he pulled away . He looked me in the eyes , I smiled and bit my lip .

Me: I love you .

He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him . Somethin about showers turn me on . He still had me against the wall , and was kissing my neck .
