I decided not to go skinny dipping I was scared. I know I'm a huge wimp. Ugh but Lauren was so chill about it she didn't pressure me. Not like him. I remember once I went over his house and he wanted us to do "it" I tried backing out but he just started holding my hands. But I got a phone call and I said it was my mom telling me to go home. After that I never went back to his house.
"Mom! I can't find it!" I yelled. I heard my mom walking up the steps. She opened the door. "Karla I told you it's in the cabinet" she said. "I looked but it's not there" "here you go" she said handing me the black bow I've been looking for the past ten minutes. "Thank you thank you" I said and kissed her cheek. I walked to the mirror and started adjusting my bow. "So how's the lucky guy?" my mom asked. "Umm I'm going with....a friend" I said. "What's his name ?" She asked. "Well it's a she and it's Lauren" I said smiling. She nodded the doorbell rang "well I guess she's here" she said I smiled. My mom walked downstairs. I grabbed my phone.
Harry : I love you I'm sorry for hurting you I'm just warning you about Taylor she's out to get you be careful princess
What does he mean by watch out?! Ugh camila calm down don't let him ruin your night. I took a deep breath and walked downstairs, where I met with the most beautiful green eyes. I scanned her body, god she's so hot. She's wearing a red dress that fits her body perfectly. I bit my lip. I walked down the steps and greeted her with a hug. "Camz you look beautiful" she said scanning my body and then look up at my eyes. I blushed "you look beautiful as well" I said holding her hand. She blushed, my mom walked in and smiled. "Hi mrs.cabello" Lauren said with a hint of nerves in her voice. She's so cute when she's nervous. "Hello Lauren" my mother said shaking Laurens hand. "Picture time" my mother said and pulled out her camera. "Mom you know I'm awkward in pictures" I said. "Nonsense" she said. "Here I'll tell you how to pose then" my mother said I sighted but gave in. She grabbed Laurens arms and wrapped them around my waist from behind. She grabbed my hands and placed them over Laurens. Typical prom picture. She winked at me and took the picture I was blushing hard. "Umm lo lets go" I said and grabbed Laurens hand. "Okay nice seeing you mrs.cabello" Lauren said and waved. "Nice meeting you Lauren" my mom said and waved. "I'll have her home by 10:30" Lauren said. "Or don't" my mom said. "Mom!" they laughed and we walked out the house. "So umm first dinner with the girls right?" I asked she nodded and pulled out her phone I did the same and called demi.
D: h-hello *sniff*
C: demi? what's wrong boo?
D: mila....j-Justin is taking Selena to prom I got to her house and h-he was there she told me it was last minute.
C: awe boo I'm so sorry I was calling you so you can accompany me and Lolo to diner before prom
D: I'm a mess my make up is ruined I don't feel like going
C: no you are not letting them ruin your prom you are going...I'll be there I'm ten bye
I hung up. "Sel said that she'll come she said Justin won't be with us until prom he's busy" she said. I rolled my eyes at the mention of Justin's name. "What's wrong?" she asked grabbing my hand. "I called demi she was crying basically Selena ditched her for Justin last minute" I said. "Oh gosh that horrible I have to talk to Selena" she said. "No baby it's fine. Can we just go over to Demi's I want her to come with us I don't want her to miss prom" I said. She blushed "did...did you just call me baby?" she asked. "Why did you not like it?" i asked. "No I love it" she kissed my cheek. I smiled. We got in her car and she drove us to Demi's.
*selenas POV*
Ugh. I'm so stupid! I slammed the door shut. And closed my eyes shut trying to hold back the tears."Babe jewn jfjs je wevginf" Justin said with a mouthful of chips. "What?" "when are we leaving?" he asked. I shrugged. My phone started ringing.
"Hello?"
"Hey laur"
"Um so me and camz where wondering if you'd like to come to dinner with us you know before prom"
"Yeah sure id love to with who else?"
"Demi if she decided to go"
"Oh okay Justin is....busy so he won't be joining us"
"Okay I'll see you then"
I hung up "jay I'm going out to dinner with Lauren, and some friends I'll meet you outside the prom" I said. Before he could answer I was outside my door. I have to apologize to demi. I got in my car.
*Lauren's POV*
After we helped demi get her make up off and then redoing it
Me and camz where waiting for demi to get ready. We sat in the car in silence. "Lo?" "yeah?" "Harry sent me this message earlier" she said handing me her phone. I read the text. "D-did you believe him?" I asked. "About the Taylor part yeah and I have to admit I'm scared" she said. "Don't be I'll be there with you" I said with a reassuring smile. "Did you believe him about the 'loving you' part?" I asked staring straight ahead feeling her gaze on me. "Lauren when I-" she cut off by demi entering the car. I cleared my throat and started the engine. Camila and demi talked the whole way to the restaurant.
"We're here" I said and parked the car. We walked inside the restaurant where Selena was waiting for us. We had our dinner it was a bit tense between demi and Selena, but we got past it. Now we're driving to the prom.
"THIS IS THE WAY WE LIVE" camila Sang along to the radio I smiled at her cuteness. Wow she can sing. I stopped the car we arrived. I took a deep breathe. Lets get this party started.
