*lauren POV*
"C'mon laur just hang in there are you really ready to get bullied and being judged just give me time " Selena asked "Selena I've been bullied and judged all my life by my father and I know how bad it sucks for my mom to just stand there and I don't want to be my mom for anyone else especially those girls because they've been nothing but nice to us" I said. "Lauren I'm not ready okay you don't get it because you don't know what I go through at home" she said "then tell me" I said. "I...I can't" she said and rushed out the school. "Sel!" I yelled after her. I ran but bumped into someone. "I'm sorry" I said as I stood up. "It's fine beautiful" a voice said and grabbed my hand. "Are you okay?" he asked I looked up to see zayn. Zayn the mother fudging cutie who moved last year. My old crush. "Yeah I'm fine" I said. "Can I take you out for a coffee? just to say I'm sorry" he said. I looked at the direction Selena ran to she was nowhere in sight. I sighted and nodded. He smiled and led me to his car.
*flashback Laurens POV*
Freshman year. First period ELA. great. I sat down at the back of the class some people where still walking in a brunette whose name I would later find out is Selena sat next to me. It looked like she'd been crying I turned my attention to her "are you okay? " I asked she nodded "I'm Lauren...Lauren jauregui" I said "I'm Selena gomez" she said and smiled at me.
We found out we had all classes together except for Mondays. "So where are you from?" she asked "I'm Cuban originally from Miami and I moved here to L.A because of my father" I said. "Work?" she asked I chuckled "I wish he's a homophobe...I had a girlfriend back in Miami he made us brake up and then made our family move" I said. "Yikes, my life at home isn't that great either" she said. I decided not to ask why, I mean I Just met her. "Whose he?" I asked as I saw a tall handsome boy pass by us. "He's zayn I know because my friend demi is like great friends with most boys around here" Selena said. "He's cute" I said she nodded. Well at least I thought he was cute until....."hey there losers" zayn said walking up to Selena and me. "So how about you two fatties fuck out my locker" he said and pushed me and Selena out the way to his locker. I ran to the bathroom crying with Selena following behind. "He's a jerk okay he doesn't deserve a girl like you crying over him" Selena said. "Why is she crying?" a girl who I later found out name was Taylor asked. " some jerk called us losers and fatties" Selena said so openly. "Well you two hang out with us and I'm sure nothing like that will ever happen to you again" the girl next to Taylor said. "Okay we will" Selena said. I nodded and wiped my tears. "Oh and another thing you can not associate with the nerd, losers, geeks and nobody's in this school so the friends you had forget them " she said. "I'm Taylor by the way" she said "Lorde" the girl next to her said "selena" "Lauren" I said they nodded and walked out.
