To say it was a banger was an understatement.
The music blared in my eardrums so loudly that I questioned the wellness of my hearing. The lights in the house were dimmed down low, and there were red solo cups scattered everywhere.
If you look past the garbage anywhere and everywhere you looked, it was actually a nice house. I wonder who owns it...
My aunt leads me through a crowd of tightly packed people as sweat prickles at the back of my neck.
After what feels like minutes of wandering, she comes to an abrupt stop in front of me and pulls me forward to greet someone.
"This is Reagan, my niece. She's staying here for the summer so I thought I could introduce her to you guys now," Aunt Vicky screams over the music.
The cute looking dude with black hair and brown eyes smiles at me and shakes my hand. "I'm Luke, nice to meet you Reagan," he says. Damn, this guy is hot. Let me guess- Abercrombie model?
I chat with him for a little before being led to the next room.
"Alright, Rea, drink up!" my aunt hands me a cup of God-knows-what and I chug it. "Atta-girl."
A few minutes later, I'm in the backyard observing the corn hole game. I have no freaking clue where my aunt is... oh well. She'll just have to deal with the repercussions of drunk Reagan later! MUAHAHA!
"These idiots think they are the best at everything," a voice says from behind me. I whirl around to find a pretty brunette with hazel eyes. "what is it with all the guys in Bayville?" she suddenly extends her hand, saying: "I'm Jennette. You new here?"
I like the vibe off of this girl~ it's kind of the 'I give zero shits and I'll fuck you up if you mess with me' look.
"Im Reagan," I say, and gesture to the house next door, "my aunt lives there. I'm here for the summer."
"Nice to meet you, Reagan. What brings you here among all of these drunk assholes? God knows why I am even here." Jennette replies as a humorous smile spreads across her face.
"Just exploring, I guess... but I mean, this game of corn-hole is looking awfully tempting. How good are you?" I question, eyeing her muscles and structure. She appears to be athletic. Maybe a softball player?
"I'm not bad. What do you say we take down these douchebags as a team next round?"
All of the sudden, before I can even open my mouth to respond, I see a figure moving through the crowd toward us. "Did I really just hear you say that, Jennette?" He clicks his tongue a few times for emphasis, "Bad mistake." I whirl around to end up inches away from this sun bronzed, tall, masculine figure that's well built. I can see the torches around the backyard reflecting in his blue eyes, as his hair flickers in the wind.
To say the least... he is the definition of a GOD....
"And you are?" the guy asks, his eyes boring into my skull as I practically shrivel into the ground. I see a smile flicker on his face as he realizes his affect on me. Contain yourself, Reagan! Does he just use his good looks to paralyze girls? That sounds like my ex boyfriend, Michael. I should just stop mentioning him. I came down here to escape!
"Reagan. You?" i respond, trying to keep my cool.
"The biggest douchebag in Bayville," Jennette answers for him next to me. That earned a scowl from him.
"Nice to meet you, 'biggest douchebag in Bayville'. And, yes, you heard us right. Next round of corn-hole is going to be us kicking some poor soul's ass," I reply, looking him up and down for a dramatic affect. My eyes land on his tan, sun kissed skin and eventually make their way back to his bright eyes. I feel like I'm drowning in them.
The guy lets out a grin and sighs. "I guess I'll take you guys up on that next round. But, I hate to warn you, I'm not going easy." He says, and I see something flicker in his eyes. Should I be scared??
"It looks like we're up next," Jennette says next to me, rolling her eyes at the boy. Is there something going on between the two??
"Who's your partner?" I ask, raising one eyebrow.
Moments later, the boy turns around. His voice booms through the crowd of people as he waves his hand in the air. "Yo, Luke!" the good looking dude shouts as he searches for someone. Shortly after, he earns a reply and turns back towards me.
The same figure from before bobs through the crowd and walks up to Cali boy, about the same height, and fist pumps him. "What's up, man?"
"Me and you versus these two chicks. What do you say?"
"I say, hell yea," the boy I met from earlier replies. He acknowledges me with a friendly smile. I smile back. He's cute, but not as cute as this Cali- looking boy.
"I swear to God if you guys keep eying us like pieces of meat I'll wipe that expression off your face." Jennette pipes up from behind me, squeezing her red solo cup as she says so.
"Calm down, honey bun," the boy replies as he moves his hands and holds them out as if reasoning. He's clearly a ladies man.
The muscle tee shirt really suits his arms because they look so ripped and just... delicious right now. There are even veins popping out here and there. I don't even think I've laid eyes on a body as delicious as his, but why should I drool over an idiot's body when he is probably really mean and shit?
"Already drooling over me, Reagan? Don't you think it's a little early for that?" he boasts, running his hands through his hair with a humorous look on his face. That damn boy.
Taken aback by his remark, I search my brain for ways to get back at him. Crap- his ice blue eyes are staring into mine so intently I might faint. CRAP, WHAT DO I SAY??? I can't help but notice the way the moonlight reflects on his face, casting some shadows below his eyes.
"In your wet dreams," I finally manage to recover, rolling my eyes and turning my back to him. I realize this probably wasn't a good idea because I feel his eyes on my ass now. Ugh, boys.
