ROGUES

CHAPTER 7

Gabriel,caeser and cecille had taken their seats near the corner of the entrance.Gabriel's back was facing cassy,and the opposite seat was taken by caeser and cecille facing her side ways.

No way, he cant be my mate,cassy was screaming at her wolf which was so restless and  annoying her to the core.Her wolf wanted to be near him and look in his eyes,wanted  comfort from his arms,her wolf was lusting for her mate.Come on he's a criminal and i am a cop the wolf spirits wouldnt be that crazy to pair him up with me,she tried to reason with her wolf.Her wolf was adament she screamed back at her that definately he was her mate.His smell was intoxicating her senses,but she couldnt let her wolf win she remebered the pictures shown by her chief,the handiwork of gabriel and his two guard dogs,no way in this world she could love him mate or not.

Suddenly she heared the sound of screeching tyres ,her wolf at once alerted her from the incoming danger."GET DOWN" both gabriel and cassy screamed in unison,and pushed their tables in front of them like a piece of wood with their wolf strength to take cover.Automatic weapons were fired into the restaurant mostly concentrating towards gabriel and his men.The waiter's body fell to the ground as bullets ripped his body.The parents of the teens were injured ,and the two kids were down on the ground crying looking at their injured parents panicking.The two men on the table had jumped to the ground and were down hoping they wouldnt get hit by the bullets.

Cassy wasalso panicking,she had fought and killed rogues in wolf form,and wasted her bullets in the shooting range but not once she and her team was in a gun fight.Mike was exchanging fires once in a while.Her teammates where as stunned as cassy was.

Within a fraction of a second cassy heard heavy gunshots from powerful guns from inside the restaurant,snapping her out of her panicked trance, she peeked through the side of the table which she had used as her cover to see gabriel and his two guards caeser and cecille firing at the attackers.

They just stood firing their weapons at them while walking to the entrance killing the men shooting in their way.Within seconds she saw two lifelles bodies falling down to the ground with bullet holes on their foreheads and only three more of their attackers remained.The attackers panicked at the sudden advancement of  gabriel and his guards that they took cover behind their suv .Gabriel and caeser covered the entrance as a shield for the people inside while cecille took the teens and their injured parents behind their table to protect them.

Sudden confusion rose within cassy's heart wht would they do that,why would they try to save the other's,they were murderer's werent they.They risk their lives as if they didnt care for nothing defending the people inside while she and her team where covering from gun fire.A sense of guilt and shame washed over her it was their job ,it should have been them at the entrance protecting those people not the other way around.

At that moment a bullet grazed Gabriel's shoulder and he winced in pain,but resumed to shoot back.A sudden fit of rage took over cassy ,her wolf screaming her mate was hurt ,her wolf was angry,her wolf wanted to rip of the head of the guy,s head.Within seconds cassy ran out to the entrance firing her gun and stood beside gabriel emptying her entire clip on the man who had hurt gabriel.

Cassy's team was surprised by their leader that they followed her actions all standing at the entrance unloading their bullets towards the attackers.The remaining two men ran away from their suv and highjacked a car by pushing the scared driver out and sped their way in that car away from that place.What felt like hours was only a matter of minutes.

Cassy pointed her gun at gabriel immediately taking her badge screaming" FBI put down your weapons."

Gabriel ,caeser and cecille slowly lowered their arms without a fuss or hesitation.

"On the floor now" Cassy screamed again and they obeyed.

Cassy went to frisk gabriel and her team members frisked caeser and cecille for guns.Lightening was passing in her hands as she frisked gabriel.Her hands moved towards the side of his chest ,stomach thighs and legs.Her wolf screaming and enjoying his body.Cassy was trying to put a leash to her wolf.Finally she took her handcuffs and cuffed gabriels hand.

"Pervert"gabriel whispered ,a whisper only cassy could hear.bringing a small smile to her beautiful face.

She mindslapped her becoming stern again pulling him up MR.GABRIEL you and your men are being arrested and we will sort this mess out in the police station.By then the ambulance and other police cars had reached the spot.

Cassy dragged gabriel while her team brough caeser and cecille.Before they reached their car' six black suv's had screeched stopped infront of them.Men in black suit and guns got down,and,an elderly man aroun late fifties got down walking towards cassy.Hello officer i am mr.gabriel's attorney,this his pre bail and bail for mr.caeser and,miss.cecille.These documents are the permits of their guns and permision that they could use during self defense.I have already talked to your superiors and for now release them please.We would give the statement when we feel convenient as you see my clients are injured and stressed out he said in a mocking voice.

Cassy looked at mike who was on the phone with his chief,he looked at her giving her a nod.she let out a sigh before uncuffing them.His scent was still driving her crazy and she had to put all her will power to control her wolf and feelings.Gabriel showed no struggle but was as cool as before, that pissed cassy off.How could he do that screaming to herself.

Gabriel collected his guns and walked to his attorney whispering something in his ears.He nodded and took out his phone talking to someone while they walked to their cars.Before they got in ,gabriel removed his shades and saw cassy in her eyes giving a spark ,a spark which shuddered her body with excitement and she would swear that gabriel gave her a smile,before he left.

"What a day" mike said with sarcasm.

Cassy nodded in agreement.

"But on the bright side, now you have met gabriel" he said with a smile.
