The Divergent Runners

Chapter 1

Thomas's POV

         The ground starts to shake, that means the new greenie arrives today. Everybody starts to gather around the box. We except to see a confused boy, but we see a group of people. 6 guys and 6 girls to be exact. They are all past out so we have to carry them, there is a really heavy, strong, muscular guy that takes at least 5 guys to get him out of the box. We lay them on the grass. The box goes down, and we wait for the greenies to wake up. 2 of the greenies move and they move enough for everybody to notice. "I think their awake", Gally says. 1 of the 2 greenies moves again while the others stay silent.

The one that moved starts to get up. It is a girl, she looks around. Her eyes land on me and stay there. While she is staring at me I quickly observe her, she has beautiful grayish-blue eyes that could drown you, long dirty blond hair that reaches her butt, she is skinny,she is small, and she is wearing all black. She is gorgeous. I am snapped out of my thoughts when she says "Are you okay?", her voice sounds dry and croaked. I respond "Yes". The rest of the boys look at her with hungry eyes. About 5 minutes after a long silence she breaks it "Where are we?"" You and your friends are in the maze" Before she can reply another person wakes up. Everybody turns to look at him, he is the muscular guys that 5 of us had to carry. Before any of us can say something, the girl runs to his embrace. They both silently start crying. Newt decides to speak "Are you guys okay?" The boy decided to answer. " Who are you? Did you hurt my girlfriend? Where the hell are we? How come we are the only ones awake?" " Woah, slow down there dude", asked Newt. "To answer your questions, I'm Newt, we don't know who your girlfriend is, you are in the maze, and the others are passed out but will wake up eventually."

The girl decides to speak "I'm his girlfriend and no Four they did not hurt me. They kind of just sat there when I woke up." About 5 seconds after she said that the rest of them wake up and give each other hugs. Then a girl with mocha colored skin and dark brown shoulder length hair comes up to us and says "Hi I'm Christina" " Hi I'm Thomas" "Nice to meet you Thomas do you want to get to know the rest of our names?" Then Minho speaks up, "Yeah we kind of would" " Ok then" She starts to point at people. "This is Uriah the idiotic one, his girlfriend Marlene the sweetest girl on earth, Zeke Uriah's older brother the protective one, his girlfriend Shauna the badass but sweet one, Lynn Shauna's sister the complete badass, as you know I'm Christina the fashionista, my boyfriend Will the nerdy one, Peter the asshole and we don't even know why he is here, Lauren the slut, we don't know why she is here either but she is and so is Peter, and last but not least the best people of all, Four the jock one, and his girlfriend Six the most badass person on the planet. She went to juvie for 6 years for murder and that is why she is called Six"

Wow this girl likes to talk and the girl I like has a boyfriend. I start to see the girl I think named Lauren go up to Six. "Bitch get away from Four!!!" Six just goes up to Four and kisses him on the lips, and says"No way slut, he's all mine and nobody else's." This made Lauren very angry she lunges at Six and punches her square in the jaw. Six stumbles back and says "You are going to pay for that Lauren" she lunges at Lauren and starts to punch, kick, and scream at Lauren.

We manage to get them off of each other and Four has to keep his girlfriend under control while Peter has to keep Lauren from making out with Four. Since Lauren can't walk to Four she decides to say something seductive. She says"Four are really going to let them keep me away from you" "Yes Lauren you are nothing but a slutty whore who sleeps with every boy when you get the chance and I am not going back to my old ways" " But you really don't want to be around this anorexic, bulimic, cutter, depressed, selfish, cowardly, ugly bitch, do you?" That seemed to make Four even more mad if that was possible. "SHE IS WAY MORE THAN YOU LAUREN, SHE IS SUPER SELFLESS, AND SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND SO NOT A COWARD. SHE ONLY CUTS AND SHE HAS ANOREXIA AND BULIMIA BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH WAY MORE SHIT THAN YOU EVER HAVE" They keep screaming at each other until I see Six walk away. And me being curious because she doesn't know where she is going decide to follow her.
