Can I taste your blood? It will only be for a second.
I pushed against the girl trying to stop her but she was too strong.
Am I being too harsh? Here let me ease up
She pressed hard into my body the knife trailing up my stomach to my throat.
There is that better?
I let out a gasp as she plunged the knife into my heart.
Betrayal.
I woke up gasping for air, clutching my chest. It was just a dream.. Thank god. But the uneasiness in my mind was too much, it all felt so real. I thought I literally died. I looked around my room, I guess I fell asleep in my rocking chair. The bed was messy from where the murderer slept but she wasn't there anymore. Fear took over my mind rather quickly, where was she?
I stood up and slowly walked towards my door, I reached for the baseball bat that was placed in my closet. I tiptoed to the door and softly opened it. I peered out into the hallway, all the lights were off not a sign of a living being anywhere. But a killer is good at being stealthy.. I clenched the bat tighter and walked out into the hallways towards my kitchen.
As I reached the kitchen no one was there. Everything was where I left it, I let my arm that was holding the bat fall to my side. Why am I so scared? Maybe it's because I know I am going to die.. I saw her face, I know what she looks like. She's going to for sure kill me because I know what she looks like.
I started to freak out yet again. My mind was spiraling into darkness. My whole body started to shake.
*Ding dong*
I looked towards my front door as my doorbell chimed through my apartment. I stood in place every inch of me scared to take a step towards the door.
*ding dong, ding dong*
Whoever it was they were very impatient. I leaned the bat against the wall next to the door and unlocked the door except the deadbolt. I peered through the crack at the person.
"Yo Keira let me in what are you 5? Scared of your best friend now"
I let out a breath and chuckled "oh Addi what are you doing here?"
She rolled her eyes and let out a long breath "dude we always get ready together in the mornings for school"
I rubbed the back of my neck and put on a lazy smile "I'm so sorry I forgot"
"Man the break wasn't that long, what did you do? Lose all your brain cells?"
I laughed my nerves off and unlocked the deadbolt. She barged right in and plopped down on the couch. I closed and locked the door back. She propped her feet up on my coffee table and turned on my tv. The news blared out of the speakers.
"This morning a man and woman were killed, both brutally sliced up"
My vision started to blur, I gripped the back of the couch.
"Can you believe how many people have been killed around here? It honestly gives me the creeps"
I gritted my teeth and stared blankly at the tv.
"Yo Keira are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost"
I nodded my head letting go of the couch and walking over to grab my cellphone off the kitchen table. A message from a unknown number popped up.
"Open your bedroom window. Now
~X"
I stared at the text, who could it be?.. Please don't tell me it's her.
I quickly replied "who is this?"
I started to put the phone down but it started to ring loudly.
"Whose calling you?"
I looked down at the number and sure enough it was the unknown number
"Umm it's no one but will you excuse me for a moment?"
I walked towards my hallway and answered, her voice sounded rough. She was breathing heavily into the phone.
"Open the window now before I break it"
I rushed into my room and locked the door. The killer from last night put a bloody hand to my window leaving a print. I rushed over and unlocked the window, she hoisted herself inside and fell to the floor. I quickly closed it behind her and walked to my bathroom grabbing a towel and wetting it.
As I turned to walk back out into my room, she stood in the doorway. She was still breathing heavily, her hair was in her eyes. I took a step back dropping the towel. She grabbed my wrist and slammed me against the wall pinning me. I let out a gasp as the knife she always carries pressed into my stomach.
"P-Please.. I don't wanna die"
She leaned her head down onto my shoulder and kissed it trailing up my neck and stopping right before my mouth. My whole body shook, tears started forming in my eyes. She looked at me and let out a chuckle.
"Here I am turned on and you're scared, that totally ruins the mood"
She fell back and propped herself against the sink. My face started to turn a bright shade of red.
"I-I never said I was gay! So why would you take advantage of someone who isn't?!"
She smirked at me "the way you look at me says otherwise"
I adverted my eyes from hers. She smiled and lifted my chin up.
"Are you sure you're straight?"
"Y-Yes"
She grinned "let's test something then"
Before I knew it she pressed her lips against mine and slammed me against the wall. Her tongue licked at my lips teasingly. She pressed her leg in-between mine and pressed hard. I let out a gasp, biting my lip. She deepened the kiss before quickly stepping back and pulling away. With that she turned, picked up the towel and left the bathroom. Exiting out my window once again.
I slid down my wall and just sat there. What just happened?
"Keira! We gotta get ready for school"
"Okay!" I yelled back standing up and walking into my bedroom.
My world was spiraling out of control..
