Rose ran down the hall, grinning. Taylor, Percy, and Sam were all following after. Sam was her best friend, and he absolutely loved Rose's older sister, Skyla.

Literally.

"Wait up!" Percy yelled, Taylor grabbing at his arm to slow him down.

Taylor was petite, but she was mean. She had a crush on Percy, but she stepped back for Rose.

Yes, Rose liked Percy. Who didn't, though? He was amazing, personality-wise and look-wise.

Every. Single. Girl. Said he was hot. Rose liked him more for her personality than his looks, because the reason she met him was because he was defending her from the school bully, Aiahdahn or whatever.

"Ayadah is coming," Rose jumped at the urgent whisper in her ear.

Percy was standing right next to her, grinning. Rose rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress her smile.

Ayadah Smith strutted over, her eyes trained on Percy. Said boy raised his eyebrows, smirking.

"My place at seven? My parents are gone all night. .  . And my bed doesn't creak too much," Ayadah winked.

Percy flushed red, "Uh- no thanks. My girlfriend's bed doesn't creak either," he said easily.

Ayadah's, Rose's, and Taylor's jaws dropped. He, Percy Jackson, had a girlfriend, and he had been in her bed enough to know it didn't creak?

Well then.

"Uh- Percy-" Rose started.

"What? You have a girlfriend?" Ayadah screeched.

"As of two years," Percy said slowly.

Rose blinked, "Why didn't you ever tell us?"

Percy shifted, "I kinda wasn't supposed to,"

"What-" Taylor started.

"And why is that?" Rose cut her off.

Percy shifted uncomfortably still, "I wasn't supposed to tell anyone outside of my- erm- group?"

"We aren't part of your group?" Taylor yelled.

"It's -um- a different group," Percy managed.

"You have got to be kidding me, Seaweed Brain. How many friendships can you destroy?"

Percy whirled around. A girl with curly blonde hair and threatening gray eyes was staring back at him.

And she was absolutely gorgeous.

Great.

Percy watched her as she approached, letting himself relax.

The girl wrapped her arms around his neck and he grinned lazily at her. She slipped her fingers into his hair and pulled his face down to her level.

"Shortie," Percy snickered.

"Shut up," the girl muttered before pressing her lips against his.

Rose managed to not get butt hurt over this, "Ahem," she coughed.

Percy pulled away from the girl, "Uh-right. This is Annabeth,"

Annabeth smiled and laced her fingers with Percy's, much to Rose's disappointment.

Percy leaned his head on her's, closing his eyes and inhaling deeply.

"Your hair smells good," he noted.

"Percy," Annabeth laughed, pushing him away.

Rose watched the couple closely, before wheeling around and walking away.

Percy called after her, before being cut off by an "oomph!".

Rose turned and pushed her way into the bathroom, hearing footsteps behind her.

She sat down on the counter in the bathroom, checking her reflection. She heard the door open, and she turned to look. That last person she had expected to see had come.

Annabeth.

Annabeth sat down next to her, "I saw how you looked at Percy the moment I saw you,"

"Why aren't you mad at me?" Rose blurted.

Annabeth laughed, "Because, who can blame you for liking him? And, it's not like you acted on it, which makes you a pretty cool person, even if you didn't know,"

Rose stared at her, "I thought you would get mad at me for liking your boyfriend,"

Annabeth shrugged, "You're sweet, you know that? I have to go, and I'm going to get Percy out of school, so I'll see you around,"

Rose waved at her as she jogged out of the bathroom.

Percy was in good hands.
